Planning for an elopement? Check out our favorite destination spots for an awe-inspiring spring elopement!

We have seen our fair share of weddings and we can say for sure that each wedding is special and unique in its own way. Whether a couple is tying the knot in a glamorous Christmas cruise while having a holiday honeymoon or getting hitched in their own backyard with rustic wedding details like dreamy string lights and mason jars, every detail leaves a lasting impression on us because of the unique chemistry that each couple brings with them to their weddings. It does not really matter whether you’re getting married at a BnB wedding venue or tying the knot in a faraway dreamy destination, the best way to make a wedding stand out is to make it your own! After all, it is your love story and no one will tell it better than you. So it is very essential to take some time off your hectic wedding planning schedule and reflect on what represents you as a couple. And if you want something intimate and meaningful and want a big day that only focuses on you two solely, then maybe an intimate elopement is the answer you’re looking for.

Let’s face it, a big fat celebration with over-the-top wedding ideas is not for everyone. And whatever be the reason – whether someone’s personality refuses to steal a lot of attention or they had to postpone their wedding indefinitely, having an intimate elopement can be the ultimate escape that they are looking for. For couples who want to focus on each other and for those who want to explore somewhere new (a strong nod to the globetrotters and traveling pants), having an intimate wedding can take you to a dreamy place without missing out on your ideal wedding ideas and inspirations. Unlike traditional times where intimate elopements did not include ceremonies and receptions, modern-day intimate elopements can be adjusted to include guests as well as other lovely wedding details. Getting in touch with an expert elopement wedding planner can be of great help, in this case, to help you navigate through the wedding planning process and get started on planning out an epic wedding saga.

Intimate elopements is a rising wedding trend that is witnessing a strong upward curve as it allows your wedding day to be an intimate affair. It is all about planning a wedding day at a location that is significant for you as a couple, whether it is a location near your hometown or a dream wedding destination that is halfway around the world. Having that said, a small wedding certainly does not mean that you won’t feel special as we have come up with some of the most jaw-dropping elopement wedding destinations from around the world that are also considered to be some of the most romantic places to propose.

Our favorite romantic elements destinations for your spring saga:

Moab, Utah

The small town of Moab serves as a gateway to the southern desert’s otherworldly red rock formations and massive mesas. Arches National Park and Canyonlands National Park are both located just outside of Moab. Massive arches and formations create an incredible backdrop for an intimate wedding ceremony and the ultimate place for a Utah elopement after a beautiful hike. The red rocks and desert landscape make for stunning wedding photos which means that you can have your ultimate wedding photography shot list right at this place, making it a truly remarkable place to elope.

Las Vegas

If you think of Sin City solely as a seedy locale for a quick wedding, you’re mistaken. Yes, obtaining and using a Nevada marriage license is incredibly simple, and Elvis officiants and drive-through wedding chapels aren’t for everyone, but the city is also full of excellent dining options, excellent outdoorsy activities beyond The Strip, and amazing wedding portrait backdrops at every turn. Our forever favorites for a dreamy Las Vegas elopement will always be the Seven Magic Mountains and the Neon Museum. To put it another way, you don’t have to be a night owl to elope in Las Vegas, though it certainly helps!

New England

A spring elopement in New England can be breathtakingly beautiful especially for the adventurous couples with a high adrenaline rush. If you’re willing to bundle up and brave the elements, New England has a lot of ethereal spring landscape views, so this could be a great option for you. There are many gorgeous options with a less strenuous hike, and one great option is to take the gondola most of the way up and then finish the hike. It’s possible that microspikes or crampons will be required. New England’s waterfalls and picturesque pools make it one of the most amazing places for glamping and spending some time away from the hustle and bustle of the mainland crowd. It’s entirely up to you, but whatever you do in the spring season, make sure you’re either prepared to work around the crowds or work with your photographer to find a more secluded location. It’s sometimes as simple as going early in the morning to a location that will be very crowded later in the day.

Lake Louise, Canada

The out-worldly turquoise waters of Lake Louise mixed with its surrounding emerald mountains makes it one of the most jaw-dropping glamping places for a mini-moon or an intimate elopement in Canada. The entire landscape looks like a painting and to make things even more beautiful, this glacial lake is located within Banff National Park, so the snow-capped mountains in the background will take your photos to new heights. The best part is that once you say “I do,” you and your new beau can go on exciting adventures together. Cross-country skiing, snowboarding, ice fishing, snowmobiling, hiking, and ice climbing are just a few of the activities available.

City Park, New Orleans

City Park in New Orleans is the ideal location for an elopement as it is brimming with charming landscapes and significant history. You won’t run out of picturesque backdrops for your gorgeous elopement photography session with a 1,300-acre oasis full of centuries-old oak trees, a fragrant rose garden, lakes, a stunning greenhouse, and historic sculptures. The Langles Bridge in the park also makes an excellent backdrop for exchanging vows. After your ceremony, take some photos and take a stroll through the greenhouse. This romantic elopement location in New Orleans will appeal to nature lovers and green thumbs alike.

Vancouver Island, British Columbia

When Prince Harry and Meghan Markle first moved to North America, they chose this secluded island in British Columbia for a variety of reasons, one of which is its rugged natural beauty. In Avatar Grove, you and your loved one can exchange vows among the ancient Douglas firs and cedars before spending the night in a private cabin. The rest of your trip should be spent enjoying the great outdoors (think hiking, river pack-rafting, hot springs, and even surfing) and staying in a luxury lodge in Tofino overlooking the Pacific Ocean. This British Columbia elopement destination has our hearts for its rustic and rugged beauty which also reflects in the backdrop of wedding photography sessions!

Dunluce Castle, Ireland

Rivaling your favorite rom coms, this Irish elopement destination can be the ultimate pick for dramatic and hopeless romantics! Elope to the historic Dunluce Castle in Ireland, with its craggy coastlines and iconic ruins. Who wouldn’t want to start their lives together with a little Irish luck? You and your lucky charm can marry in front of a crumbling castle straight out of a fairytale, surrounded by stunning blades of green grass and endless sea views. Can any under location beat the romantic quotient of this Irish elopement spot?

Tybee Island, Savannah

If you’re planning an elopement in Savannah, Tybee Island is a great romantic and nautical setting, located just 20 minutes from downtown Savannah. Featuring clean white sand beaches that line the island, and the historic Tybee Lighthouse which was once America’s tallest structure that now towers over the water, Tybee Island combines the seclusion of the seashore with the charm of a small town in one stunning location. The dreamy romantic sunsets alone are reason enough to have a lovely beach wedding with sand between the toes and a blanket of sparkling stars overhead.

Bora Bora

Bora Bora in French Polynesia is located in the South Pacific, halfway between Australia and South America. Known to be one of the best places for a tropical honeymoon, honeymooners have long flocked to this remote island chain for the white sand beaches and bungalows perched directly above the clear blue waters, and it’s also a fantastic elopement destination for couples looking for the ultimate tropical island vibe. Whether you’re looking to get to a private beach for a Polynesian-style wedding or spend some special time in a luxurious resort in Bora Bora, the options are endless for an unforgettable new beginning in this part of the world.

Bogus Basin, Idaho

You may not be aware of this hidden gem elopement destination, but trust us when we say that your Idaho elopement will look like something out of a fairytale. The Arrowleaf Balsamroot wildflowers light up Boise’s wild rolling foothills with bright pops of yellow and green in the spring. With over 190 miles of trails, you can hike, walk, mountain bike, or drive to your ceremony location and say “I do” just as the high-desert sunsets, with panoramic views you won’t soon forget and which will also pose as the backdrops for an unforgettable wedding photography session. And, because it’s only a half-hour drive from Boise, you can enjoy the best of both worlds by visiting this artsy and urban mountain town.

Chugach Mountains, Alaska

Alaska remains one of our favorite places for intimate elopements because of how wild and untamed it feels! And we especially love it when our couples decide to fly out to the Chugach Mountains and land on a glacier in a helicopter or ski plane because the scenery is breathtaking for an unforgettable spring wedding photography session. Glaciers change seasonally, if not weekly, so what we see or experience will always feel new and unique to the exact time and place, which I think is a lovely detail for a memorable spring elopement wedding day.

The Rocky Mountain National Park, Colorado

Probably a no-brainer, but the Rockies will forever make to our list of picturesque elopement destinations throughout all the seasons. It is true that Colorado is one of the most beautiful mountainous regions in the country, making it an ideal location for an intimate elopement. Rocky Mountain National Park, located about 70 miles from Denver, is home to a stunning wilderness area with 150 lakes, 350 miles of trails, and 450 miles of rivers and streams. Couples seeking the beauty of the Western wilderness have a plethora of options here, including dazzling alpine lakes, sweeping mountains, and pine forests, all of which offer a long list of options for the quintessential Colorado elopement experience. Silver Dollar Lake, Lake Isabelle, Sapphire Point, and 3M Curve are among our favorites.

Iceland

This remote Nordic island, which can be accessed with a five-and-a-half-hour flight from New York, has a rich variety of otherworldly topography, including black sand beaches, beautiful waterfalls, rolling green hills, glaciers, hot springs, and even gurgling lava. Probably one of the most fascinating elopement destinations in the entire world, the remoteness of most of these natural locations only adds to the spiritual aspect of your union. And you don’t need to worry about your wedding planning in Iceland, as it is not difficult to find an Iceland elopement service to assist you. After that, unwind in a room at one of the luxurious Icelandic retreats, which provides exclusive access to Iceland’s most famous tourist attractions, and kickstart your Nordic honeymoon right after.

Tulum

If you are looking for alternative options of eloping under a waterfall in Bali, you can check out the clear Caribbean waters of Tulum, the popular destination on Mexico’s Yucatan Peninsula. The town is especially popular with the social media influencer culture, and features cool hotels, a thriving wellness culture, and super-buzzy restaurants, not to mention gorgeous beaches and diving cenotes nearby. But all of these do not take away from the warm-weather romance it offers for smaller wedding ceremonies.

For some, a wedding entails exchanging vows in front of a huge guest list of relatives and friends. For others, something simpler, more scaled-down, and in a completely different location is desired. While the definition of elopement has changed over time, it is now most commonly used to describe the latter. The wedding is intimate – sometimes with just the couple in attendance, and takes place away from the couple’s home. The best place to elope is determined by the couple and their preferences as there is no shortage of awe-inspiring elopement locations – from colossal mountains to beaches and painterly lake views around the world for intimate celebrations.

If you’ve decided that eloping is the right choice for you, the next question is, “Where are the best places to elope?” Finding the most beautiful elopement location depends on what you’re looking for. There are beautiful coastal shores, towering mountains, and sprawling cities to choose from. Whether you want to elope on a mountaintop with just an officiant and photographer or have a destination elopement on a tropical beach, your wedding day is all about you and your partner, which means you can celebrate however you want. There are a plethora of ways to make the day memorable, from wearing a stunning elopement wedding gown to incorporating a variety of unique elopement wedding ideas, and it all starts with where you decide to tie the knot. The atmosphere you create will set the tone for the rest of your celebration, and without a large reception to worry about, the world is your oyster. The above-mentioned list contains our favorite places to elope right now, and it has everything from secluded waterfalls to vibrant desert towns. So go ahead and take your pick!

Hosting a Regency-core inspired spring wedding of your dreams!

Swirl into the depths of regency-inspired weddings with this blog! Click the link below to begin your journey!

While the new and shiny things always claim our hearts, there is something about the old royalties and the grand histories which will never be forgotten. They will forever live on and stories will be told in whispers of the anecdotes in black and white movies, yellowed brittle paper of classic Jane Austen novels and tales passed down by generations, adorned and altered at the whims of the matriarchs before they reach our ears. No matter how much we love our smartphones and feminist and respectful lovers, there is something about lazy garden tea parties, grand seasonal debutant balls, and scandalous courting in not-so-demure glances and long swirly love letters which will be something that nothing can hold a candle to! If you are a classic romantic soul who loves her after afternoon tea, her well-thumped copy of Pride and Prejudice, and have recently binged on Bridgerton, you, fine lady, are in for a treat and surprise, so hold your smelling salts closely!

Regency-core 101

This is essentially what the whole Regency-era aesthetic is named as. If you are familiar with Bridgerton, Pride and Prejudice, or Sense and Sensibility, you might already know this aesthetic by look. But where did it all start? This look is influenced by the regency period in the United Kingdom, which lasted roughly from 1795 to 1837. The title “regent” comes from King George IV, the prince-regent who took over when his father, King George III was pronounced unable to reign. This time period was marked by a cultural mini-renaissance, particularly among the elite classes. This translated into extravagant parties, gossip newspaper columns, brave and luxurious triumphs in art, literature, and design, and cultural sophistication. It was a very colorful and exciting time, the Regency period altered Britain’s whole social structure.

Dreamy recency-core weddings serving Victorian dresses with square necklines, delicate details in the sweet table, and perfectly grand venues are here to announce that the past is here and have the brides in quite a fix lately, but that is not all! The regency inspiration has stepped into various different elements of the wedding day, piecing together a wedding day which is a delectable throwback, but still current and incredibly stylish! If you are in love with the regency era but are hosting a spring wedding, it all comes together so beautifully, it feels like fate! It just so happens that spring automatically leads to a whimsical garden wedding and the regency theme fits quite at home in just a scene. While everything from the season to the era has worked out just perfectly in your favor, here are some of the elegant inspirations which are here to pull your dream wedding together. Whether it is royal-core or regency vibe that you like, whether it is a subtle Victorian era or more Marie Antoinette level maximalism, 2022 is embracing it all!

For a regency-core spring wedding!

Regency venue

When it comes to a themed wedding, the venue is crucial, as it paints the right picture for you to host your dream wedding in. Choose a Regency-era wedding site as the backdrop to your big day if you want to feel like you’ve strolled onto the set of a regency love story – and even better if it was used as one of the filming locations! Bridgerton was filmed in Bath for the most part, but some stunning thematic settings will transport guests back in time. Think along the lines of ornate gold details, artistic ceilings, romantic fountains, and mesmerizing archways, and an entry that will wow your guest before they even arrive at the location. A lush garden, a palatial estate, a sprawling ballroom, and a flowering courtyard, along with details like gold or brass decorations, vintage paintings, bold staircases, swinging chandeliers, or even vintage mirrors or sculptures will make your venue feel on-theme.

The gown to wow

The empire line gown is the quintessential gown for this era when it comes to creating a regency style for weddings. The empire dress is the ideal choice for a Regency wedding, with its delicate unstructured soft shapes and exuding feminine grace. For a genuine aesthetic, consider gorgeous fabrics like lace, chiffon, and taffeta, as well as a style with capped sleeves and a fitted bodice. Go for trendy regency details like square neck, puffed sleeves, or off-the-shoulder details. Your look will be enhanced by vintage lace boots peeking out from beneath the skirt. Choose vintage jewelry such as pearls and delicate silver pieces to accessorize the gown, but keep it basic. The regency bridal appearance is completed with lace or silk gloves and a capelet in lace for summer or fake fur for winter. A half-up bun with a few loose locks flowing down would be the hairdo for a regency bride. To achieve the iconic looks from the movie, keep your make-up natural and gentle.

Keep it vintage

Keep the color palette delicate and charming for a Regency wedding, such as dreamy lilacs, gentle blues, and dainty pinks. Use seasonal flowers, ribbons, and lace to dress up your setting. Crisp white linen tablecloths used for the tables, which are adorned with antique-style silver tealight holders and hurricane lanterns, as well as greenery and large blossoms as a centerpiece. Serve your guests an afternoon tea-themed wedding breakfast in the style of a traditional Regency wedding. To give your reception an authentic regency wedding look, utilize English bone china, silver silverware, and crystal glasses as dinnerware. For an authentic Regency-style wedding, only a classic horse and carriage will suffice as transportation. When your guests see you arrive at your venue, it will make a huge statement and take their breath away. It will undoubtedly be a memorable day!

You’ve been invited

Starting with your invitations is perhaps one of the most accessible methods to organize a regency-core wedding. When guests get their invitations, the design and color palette gives them a taste of what to expect on the big day. Your wedding invitations are the perfect spot to introduce your theme, and if you’re planning a regency-core wedding, you’ll want to include aesthetic aspects throughout every detail you can, from your stationery to your meal and favors. Look for swooping handwriting, pastel colors, and metallic touches on your invitations. When in doubt, go for simple and exquisite decorations that will make your guests feel like they’ve been summoned to the most important event of the century.

Romantic notes

A handwritten message has a magical quality to it, and no one knows this better than a regency bride! So embrace letter writing, a long-forgotten art form. We adore the notion of leaving each of your guests a handwritten letter in their place setting. If you calligraph their names elegantly on an envelope and stand it up at their place, it can truly substitute a place card. Sure, it’ll be a lot of labor, but your guests will be grateful. You didn’t have to write a long note, but maybe a few lines on how happy you are that they were able to attend your wedding or a favorite memory you shared with them? It’s a thoughtful touch that will make your visitors feel appreciated.

Gloved hands

Although many brides have abandoned gloves, they are such an elegant and sophisticated appearance that we hope Bridgerton can help bring them back. A pair of sophisticated gloves are the perfect final touch once you’ve gathered all of your wedding day accessories. They’re the ultimate opulent purchase because they’re soft and plush. Also, wearing a pair of exquisite gloves with your wedding gown adds to the regency concept and makes you appear to be from that era!

Statement veils

Long statement veils were fashionable at the period. In the wedding scene to Simon in Bridgerton, Daphne wore a cathedral-length veil, which was one of the most popular lengths at the time. This will not only be historically accurate, but it will also give your stride a dramatic and delicate feminine beauty. Give your veil the attention it deserves by having it custom embroidered so that your entire ensemble feels personal and well-thought-out. A favorite literary phrase, your initials and wedding date, or something unique and personal might all be sewn in.

Bridesmaid dresses in all the colors

Just because this was a time that belonged far in the past doesn’t mean you have to shy away from colors. In fact, get friendly with all the colors in the crayon box! Embrace those beautiful hues in your bridesmaid dresses and let your bridesmaids make the statement. You can choose warm tones of mustard, vibrant coral, or exquisite mint green, or look delicate and lovely in lilacs, pinks, and pastel blues. For a modern and cohesive take on the colorful bridesmaid dress theme, mix and match various shades of jewel or pastel tones. If you want to embrace the maximalism of the era, go for floaty tulles and voluminous petticoats to add fluff to the dress. You can also go for cascading silhouettes and add drama to the wedding ceremony for letting your bridesmaids claim the attention!

Afternoon tea galore

Afternoon tea is a great option for laid-back weddings where a sit-down meal isn’t feasible. Fortunately, it’s also very fashionable for a regency wedding. Set a table with cucumber sandwiches, small quiches, scones, and patisserie on vintage porcelain plates, cups, and saucers. Fill teapots with gin and vodka cocktails with a tea theme, such as a rose and hibiscus tea martini or an Earl Grey gimlet. Afternoon tea is ideal for an early afternoon ceremony since guests can interact and eat at about 4 p.m., after which there is no need to offer food again until the evening. If you are hosting your afternoon tea in a wisteria-clad courtyard or the outdoor rose garden, if your wedding venue allows, the theme will just fall perfectly in place!

Rococo era cake

The Rococo period began a few years before the Regency period, but the lavish and luxurious style swiftly spread to England. We prefer rococo styling for a modern wedding cake because of the iconic gold, white, and pastel colors, and carved molding. On a multi-tiered pastel cake, think of extravagant gold sugarcraft decorations like fruits, flowers, musical instruments, angels, shells, and fleur de lis. It’s a classic aesthetic that’s resurfaced in popularity. You can also go for a more subdued look with textured white icing, sugar roses, and gold molding accents. Whatever details you choose, the cake should be large and striking, with at least four tiers and a wedding cake display table to match.

Champagne tower

Is there anything more opulent and decadent than a champagne tower? We doubt it! There is something about a champagne tower that instantly spells luxury which feels at home in palace halls and endless flower gardens. A champagne tower is celebratory in a classy yet prominent way and truly encompasses the regency vibe aptly. A Champagne tower looks amazing in photos and is a great time to share with your sweetheart as you pour the bubbles in together. Also, they will leave your wedding guests wowed, that’s for sure! To make your champagne tower more historically accurate, go for vintage stained wine glasses or delicate vintage crystal glasses, and your bar area will look like it belongs to a movie!

A horse and carriage entry or exit

It’s no surprise that a regency wedding should have a grand exit, and what can be more fitting than a horse and carriage exit! We love the royal vibe that a horse-ridden carriage brings to the table, and how a couple instantly feels like they belong to royalty when they arrive or exit with such grandeur. Your wedding is a dream come true moment and a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. It’s a reason to rejoice, and this particular day can be anything you want it to be. Allow your imagination to soar and so what a king or a princess will do, just for a day!

Literary quotes

Using literary quotes throughout your wedding is a terrific way to personalize it, whether you select a favorite line from the series or another favorite romance novel. We love incorporating them into your wedding décor because they function so well in vows and speeches. Quotes from books like Pride and Prejudice, written in calligraphy on cloth or paper by your stationer, create lovely aisle runners. It can be looped around the bouquet on the day of the wedding and dripped down the bride’s arm as she walks down the aisle. If you and your partner are both bookworms, why not name your tables after your favorite books? You can then incorporate literary excerpts from them on your invites, menus, and orders of service, or as decorations throughout the venue. Alternatively, you can also read out your favourite poem for each other during your ceremony.

Wax seals

There is something painfully romantic about a handwritten letter, perfumed and sealed with a seal. It is quickly coming back and is seen more often! You may incorporate wax seals into your wedding in a variety of ways, whether you decide on handwritten letters or your wedding invitation, whether it’s a wedding favor or just for the aesthetics. It’s ideal for sealing invitations, adding decoration to place cards, and gluing dried flower and leaf stems to stationery. You can have a custom stamp made with your initials and wedding date, or you can opt with a generic mark that fits your style.

We adore everything about the Regency period’s elegance and indulgence, which has begun to inspire weddings, from magnificent costumes to exquisite decadent maximalism and the ambiance of tantalizing high society gossip. There are so many options to have the regency wedding you desire, from bridesmaid dresses inspired by the love of colors to vintage-style afternoon tea party, draping wisteria, bespoke wax seals, Georgian wedding venues, and sophisticated empire waist dresses. We hope this blog did justice to your vision and provided you with all that you might need.

The wedding day of Chellsea and Dillon is the stuff of dreams, and here’s a sneak peek at their big day!

The couple chose Mile High City to plan their dream wedding, and we all know they can’t go wrong with that! Denver, nicknamed the Mile High City because of its elevation of 5,280 feet above sea level, or one mile, has been a hive of activity since the late 1850s when gold was discovered near Cherry Creek. It is now one of America’s hottest places to live and play in, as well as a fantastic tourist destination. Denver is a visually beautiful town, replete with a range of sights and attractions for everyone, from kids to couples, with the Rocky Mountains as a backdrop and more than 300 days of sunlight per year. There is no shortage of things to do in Denver, whether you are roaming the Denver Art Museum, shopping and gallery hopping in Cherry Creek North, or watching animals at the Denver Zoo, day or night. There’s a lot to like about getting married in Denver because the city is full of wonderful wedding locations. This gorgeous city will never fail to surprise you with its myriad alternatives, from beautiful rocky mountain scenery to the city’s laid-back countryside attitude. We tell you that your intriguing downtown Denver wedding will stand out and prove to be memorable, proudly seated in the South Platte River Valley, a bit to the east of the gorgeous Rocky Mountains!

The city has plenty of vivid, active, and bustling locations where you can hold your perfect wedding. Villa Parker, Stonebrook Manor, and Pine at Genes-ee are three of Denver’s most popular wedding venues, however, there are many more! If you are looking for the perfect spot for some lovely engagement photo locations, Civic Center Park in the center of downtown, Washington Park, Cheesman Park, and City Park in neighboring areas are just a few of the city’s parks. Denver’s most famous park, Red Rocks Park & Amphitheater, lies just outside the city boundaries and is one of the best outdoor performance venues in the country. Every nook and cranny of this gorgeous city provides the perfect backdrop for your Denver wedding photographer to capture your romantic moments. Have faith in us! There are a few fantastic wedding venues in this city that never fail to wow. Whether you want to unwind by exploring every street of this city with your sweetheart while our wedding photographers and videographers click away to capture every step you take together hand in hand, or you can’t get enough of jaw-dropping natural-filled backdrops in your wedding album, we promise you won’t be disappointed! Needless to say, Chellsea and Dillon struck gold when they chose Denver as their wedding location, and the result is evident in the video snippets!

The outdoor ceremony setting at Della Terra is hidden amid the mountain pines, with a stunning MacGregor Mountain background to delight your guests. A raised brick stage, natural cedar vineyard trellis, and terraced sitting space for guests are all part of the event location. In Della Terra’s wedding salon, dressing room, and lounge, you and your wedding party can be pampered on-site. Couples can utilize the Theater room as a waiting space for either side of their wedding party. This space is frequently used by grooms and their groomsmen as a lounge while waiting for the wedding festivities to begin. During get-ready time, couples can arrange for bar service through Della Terra in this location. Overall, Della Terra Mountain Chateau is a wedding location that is gorgeous, practical, and simply perfect for a Denver wedding, and we are so elated that Chellsea and Dillon chose this wedding venue as “the one”!

Whether it’s the magic of the nature-filled location tucked away in the heart of the mountains or the sheer iridescent magic in the air, the couple managed to create a day that is not only beautiful to look at but also feels warm and wholesome in every way! Whether it is the emotional first look or the loving looks that couples keep on sneaking throughout the day, theirs is the kind of love that feels good and right! The magical day started amidst chirping birds and ruffling leaves as the duo got ready for the lovely day ahead! Chellsea looked stunning in her A-line wedding dress with lace details and a romantic sweetheart neckline and cap sleeves. Her golden blonde hair was arranged in a half updo, adorned with sparkly hair accessories and a gorgeous veil, and neutral makeup and sparkling necklace and earring set, adding a glow to her every movement! To add to the look, our lovely bride carried a gorgeous bridal bouquet which was created with the finest pick of white flowers and greenery! Dillon donned a classic blue suit which had black contrast lapels and a crisp white shirt, all the things which added a dashing flair to his attire! A black bowtie, a dramatic boutonniere, and a pair of formal shoes added to Dillon’s groom look perfectly! The bridesmaids donned baby-blue bridesmaid dresses and carried white matching bouquets as our lovely bride, and the gentlemen were all dressed in midnight blue suits and baby blue neckties, making for a gorgeous group with perfectly coordinated details!

Before the ceremony, the couple had their first look which was all gorgeously captured by our wedding photographers. The look in Dillon’s eyes as he saw his soon-to-be bride was precious and delicately captured!  It was emotional that Chellsea also did a first look for her dad. The couple had their wedding ceremony in the property’s outdoor ceremony site and the dark wooden arbor has been decorated with simple white drapes and gorgeous white flowers and greenery, creating a lovely setting for the couple to say their vows! The bridesmaid and groomsmen walked down the path in pairs or threes and took their position in the aisle, and the flower girl was assisted by her parents and left an adorable image in our minds! Soon Chellsea was walked down the aisle by her father, and the ceremony began. The couple said their vows, getting teary-eyed as they promised their future to each other and were soon declared married! They watered a plant as their unity ceremony, symbolizing how they promised to nourish their relationship forever to help it grow stronger through the years!

The couple exited the ceremony site as our Denver wedding videographers caught them in some memorable moments like the time they danced with each other on the winding road in the backdrop, just enjoying each other’s company and sharing sweet nothings! And as they did that, it started to drizzle adding to the magic! Soon it was time for the wedding party to pose for some formal group photography and bridal portraits, and the grassy meadows and tall towering trees proved to be the perfect backdrop for the same! Soon it was time for the wedding reception to start, but not before the couple had some fun with their guests. The evening unfolded into a series of exciting events, starting from wedding toasts to the first dance, and cutting the cake. The decor elements, like the rest of the wedding, were minimal and fresh, yet fun and we loved how the wedding cake and the wedding stationeries showed off streaks of color and whimsy! The wedding day surely ended with a high with everybody having the time of their lives!

Even when languages fail or recollections falter, a photograph or a video may convey a wealth of details! When it comes to this charming pair, though, each of their images and video snippets conveys the most captivating account of their enthralling love journey. A couple spends months arranging their wedding day, pulling together all of the minor and crucial details to ensure that everything goes according to plan. This requires a lot of checklists, phone calls, errands, and redesigning to bridge the gap between your dream wedding and reality, with a little help from the pros! And then, when the big day arrives, it’s gone in the blink of an eye! With so many intense sentiments, activities, and customs, the day is a happy swirl of occurrences, a succinct capture of the most fantastic day of your life! Photographs or a video film, on the other hand, are tangible and heartfelt, and even after they’ve aged, they still tell an intriguing tale about the couple!

The truth is that just a few days in your life will be remembered for the rest of your life, and your wedding day will surely be at the top of that list. Every couple wishes to capture the magic of the day in perfect photographs, from the drapes in the arbor to the flowers adorning the bride’s hair to the heel of the bridal shoes, so that they can relive the special day whenever they want and be recognized as an old friend greeting them with open arms by the memories of the day. Photographs and videos from a wedding capture many particular and delicate moments that we, as individuals, may ignore but that the camera retains.

Our Denver wedding photographers did an amazing job capturing the beautiful couple in all of their splendor. Whether it’s the serene and delicate moments from the getting ready sessions to the heartfelt moments when the vows were promised to one another, every frame is meticulously documented and may be considered memorable! Our professional Denver wedding photographers did an incredible job capturing the couple against the most dramatic of backdrops, resulting in dynamic moments that gripped and fascinated. Chellsea and Dillon’s fairytale moment outside, as they posed gracefully against the jaw-dropping background, was captured beautifully by the skilled Denver wedding photographers. The delicate moments of the day were captured with finesse by our expert wedding photographers and videographers, as these are the elements that couples want to forever cherish and hold close to their hearts!!

What is a wedding if not an artistic representation of your love story and an opportunity to convey it? Are you even telling your narrative if you compromise on your individuality? While society enjoys categorizing everything, marriage should always be true to its partners! Of course, there are trends, season’s “it” hues, summer brights and spring pastels, the latest hypes, and the year’s favorites to consider, but the most important thing to remember is to stay loyal to your self-expression throughout. You should be able to recognize yourself and connect years down the road while browsing through your wedding photos. Chellsea and Dillon’s wedding is so refreshing because of this! Everything seems to be true to their true selves on this wedding day, whether it’s the vibrant color selections, the modest wedding decor, or the easy personality of the couple! And when they look back on themselves years later, they will only see themselves!

Black-Owned Wedding Businesses to Hire for Your Wedding

Black-owned and much-loved- Businesses in the wedding industry we love! Check out our link for all the details!

A wedding day is one of the days you don’t want to hold anything back and go all out to make your dream wedding come true! The great blue sky holds no limit when it comes to the lengths you will go to craft your dream wedding day! The dress you choose is the exact poofy fairytale-esque piece of art as you always imagined, the invitations should set your wedding guest’s hearts tingling to be a part of your special day, and the wedding reception dinner should have your dear ones talking for months! You want everything to be well-curated and filled with intention and love! While you will potentially be indulging in a lot of purchases, why not go for black-owned businesses while at it? This Black History Month, we want to throw some light at some of the gorgeous businesses owned by black business owners so that you can take your stand for the day and do your part, not for just this month, but for forever, as you weave the most magical day of your life alongside!

It is no surprise that there is not enough focus on black businesses as there should be, and while it might be a slight difference of making some conscious choices and doing some due research before hitting the buy button, it really does bring about a lot of positive changes in the community, as it encourages conscious visibility and celebration of the community! Supply chain concerns caused by the pandemic, inflation, and labor shortages have all generated problems for business owners. However, for many black entrepreneurs, this is exacerbated by a variety of pre-pandemic obstacles, such as a lack of access to financing and greater rates of financial hardship than white-owned enterprises. Those challenges might quickly escalate into a larger, group struggle. While most of us have the best of intentions in mind, we fall short when it comes to finding the right business to support. There is a lot of research that is already a part of the wedding planning process, and this bit of extra research proves to be exhausting, which is where we come in! We have done the homework, and are bringing to you some of the black-owned businesses that you can support, all in a neat list and tied in a bow! Are you taking notes? Here we go!

Wedding Dress Designers

Amsale Aberra of Amsale

Amsale Aberra is an Ethiopian wedding dress designer who is often acknowledged as the developer of the modern bridal gown for her classic, elegant, sophisticated, and timeless aesthetic. When it comes to her journey and leaving an impact on the world, it all began when she was hunting for a wedding gown for her wedding day and discovered that the majority of the styles available at the time were unnecessarily theatrical and ostentatious! So, when she was bored of looking for the perfect wedding gown to highlight her pared-back and minimalist style, she ended up designing her own wedding gown! In the years that followed, Amsale began selling personalized wedding dresses from her New York City apartment, dedicated to servicing couples like herself! A bride wearing an Amsale wedding gown will exude elegance and confidence in spades. On her wedding day, she will undoubtedly make a statement with sophisticated elegance!

Ese Azenabor

Nigerian-born designer Ese Azenabor began her business designing custom-made evening clothing. Ese noted that a lot of the dresses available catered to ladies with lighter skin tones while looking for her wedding gown. As a result, when a bride of color wears that type of wedding gown, it doesn’t match, and they have little choice but to wear something that isn’t truly intended for them! Ese’s design range has since grown to include bridal alternatives, particularly for curvaceous and darker-skinned brides. A bride from Ese Azenabor is certainly not a wallflower. She is fearless, confident, radiant, has traveled the world, and fully understands and appreciates what it takes to make a masterpiece!

Andrea Pitter- Campbell of Pantora Bridal

Andrea Pitter is the owner and creative director of Pantora Wedding, a Brooklyn-based bridal store. She started this company to address the lack of diversity and inclusion in the wedding gown design market! Pantora Bridal wedding gowns are ideal for glamorous brides who aren’t afraid to experiment with new trends. All of the Pantora brides are unquestionably confident, feminine, and elegant, and most importantly, they have a fantastic connection to reality! Cherry blossom wedding details we love!

Celebrate your wedding in the blooming season with breathtaking cherry blossom wedding details! Check out our blog to know more!

Celebrate your wedding in the blooming season with breathtaking cherry blossom wedding details! Check out our blog to know more!

As spring wakes up from the deep winter slumber, the dusting of snow starts to melt away, making way for blades of grass to spring forth, the birds start to chirp and bees are abuzz with activity. And no spring bloom is complete without flowers. Cheery daffodils with their delicate trumpeted blooms and bright colors, shy bluebells, gorgeous irises, and spunky snowdrops, and of course, the cherry blossoms! Cherry blossoms are one of the few flowers that can attract attention in the springtime so beautifully. The blossoms’ delicacy is breathtaking, and their color is extremely beautiful, with a lovely perfume to match. A cherry blossom wedding theme might inspire some incredibly magnificent and joyful decor if you’re planning a wedding in early spring. The majority of cherry tree kinds bloom in the spring over a period of several weeks. The cherry blossom season is only a few weeks long. The time between the opening of the first blossom and the shedding of the petals might be as long as two or three weeks.

With the onset of spring, and the unmistakable aroma of love in the air, comes weddings! Spring weddings are the most amazing, and it is no surprise that so many couples chose spring as their backdrop of choice. Nothing like the subtle color palettes of spring and the gentle calming breeze of the season to step into a new chapter of your life. Also, a spring wedding means you get the choicest of spring blooms to be featured on your wedding day. There is an abundance of flowers to choose from, and of course, there is no such thing as too many flowers. You are particularly in love with the dreamy cherry blossom flowers and the pink glow it emanates, and want to make it a part of your big day, we have your back! From the gorgeous cherry blossom centerpieces to the delicate flowers trailing across your wedding cake, we come with many fun options for you to choose from! Are you ready?

Engagement photos

The preparation for a cherry blossom-themed wedding day begins right after the engagement! A fun way to make cherry blossoms an integral part of your wedding day story is to take some dreamy pictures amidst some gorgeous cherry blossom trees and you can send some out as a part of your save-your-date suite or post it online as your engagement announcement. These can also make the choice of cherry blossom as the flower for your wedding day be a more intentional decision, giving it the perfect linear backstory! Another fun idea is that you can print the engagement shots out and display them as a part of your wedding day decor, whether it is as displayed in the welcome table, or in the reception table setting.

The invitation

It all starts with the invitation, doesn’t it? There is no better way to bring a theme in motion than by making the invitation a part of it. Whether you go for subtle cherry blossom designs or you go big with the cherry blossom illustrations, the options are truly endless when it comes to wedding invitations. This is especially perfect for a wedding with cherry blossoms as a central part of the wedding day. Sending out some beautifully crafted wedding invitations with pale pink specks of cherry blossoms and swirly calligraphy makes the message of the spring wedding very clear for your guests. We love how the save-the-dates and invites combine the romantic impression of watercolor cherry blossoms with another print, such as a modest striped envelope liner or valium lettering.

Floral hair accessories

Is there anything as romantic as wearing flowers in your hair? And when the theme of your wedding is cherry blossoms, floral hair accessories are something that goes without saying! Whether it is a delicate floral crown that weaves over the crown of your head, or it is a sparkly cherry blossom hair comb with the most intricate details, whether it is real spring of cherry blossom adorning your elegant updo, or it is individual flower pins dotting your precariously created romantic messy braid, the options are as endless as your imagination. Wearing cherry blossoms in your hair is another fun way to embrace this fun theme into your look, and no matter what you choose, the results will be just fabulous!

The venue

If you’ve decided on a theme and are looking for a destination wedding, Japan is without a doubt the greatest option. There is no other site as beautiful as Japan for cherry blossoms, according to most writers, photographers, and travelers! The concept for a great Indian wedding is so novel that it’s easy to imagine it as the best ideal wedding that awaits you right there in Japan. After all, it is the actual cherry blossom paradise. If you’re looking for more ways to explore cherry blossoms as a topic, Hong Kong and North East India are good places to start. However, if you’re looking for something both abstract and authentic, Japan will always come out on top. If you are looking for something closer to home, cherry blossoms are most notable for blooming in Washington, DC, and Toronto, Canada, although they also bloom in Georgia, Texas, Hawaii, Oregon, and other places. The venue adds massively to bring this theme together, so having a wedding venue with cherry blossoms in the property is an instant win!

The cake

Another lovely approach to highlight this lovely flower? Use cherry blossoms as inspiration for your wedding cake. While real cherry blossoms can be added to a cake because the petals are edible, there are many other methods to include their beauty, such as handcrafted sugar flowers or buttercream blooms. Remember that you can add either white or pink blooms, or both, depending on the overall theme of your wedding. The good news is highly malleable, making it perfect for minimalistic cakes as well as dramatic ones. There are so many refreshing and inspiring ideas out there on the internet to choose from, we are sure you will find your perfect sugared bloom in a matter of minutes!

The aisle

Lining the aisle with the dreamiest of cherry blossom trees is a fitting and dramatic way to embrace the theme. What better than walking down a boulevard with gorgeous cherry blossom trees bending over you as you walk up to your sweetheart? You can go as dramatic or minimal with this idea as you like. To cover the entire aisle from start to finish! We recommend lining the aisles with 6-8 trees, but 4 may suffice for smaller events. This creates the aisle for the ceremony and allows for the most jaw-dropping images. The bride will have the most fanciful and enchanting walk of her life as she walks down an aisle lined with cherry blossom trees.

Table decor

Cherry blossom napkin holders and elegant cherry blossom centerpieces, there are a lot of different ways a cherry blossom-themed table decor can go. Their blooming branches, which come in a variety of colors from white to dark pink, give dramatic height to any spring wedding scene. You can find wedding floral décor ideas using cherry blossoms, ranging from centerpieces to bouquets to dessert. The sense of dining under a cherry blossom tree in full bloom is created by a towering shower of pink blooms. For an elegant romantic effect, combine white and soft pink with cascading crystal embellishments. Floating and taper candles add a brilliant aspect to the presentation. Submerge the flowers in attractive cylinder vases with miniature white rose bouquets for a contemporary edge. Don’t hold the belief that cherry blossoms must be employed in enormous, soaring décor elements. Arrange modest, clustered arrangements on a long tablescape. Don’t be hesitant to allow the branch’s natural, whimsical shape to dictate your styling and design.

Bouquets

This flower is ideal for the bride who wants her bridal bouquet to make a bold statement. They add great texture to a bouquet of peonies and ranunculus when used as a filler. Layers can be created by carefully combining large flowers, such as peonies and ranunculus, medium flowers, such as sweet peas, and miniature flowers, such as jasmine and ‘Hally Jolivette’ cherry blossoms, to give a bouquet texture and volume. If that’s too much for you, you can always keep it simple by just carrying a simple bouquet with a modest bunch of cherry blossoms. As the cherry blossoms are lean and tall flowers, they will make the perfect statement even when used minimally. Since this flower is quite petite and delicate, they make a beautiful choice for the groom’s boutonniere too! Worn alone or paired with an elegant rose or rustic greenery, this is a boutonniere that is unlike any other. You can match your bridesmaid’s bouquet as your bridal bouquet, or go for a different shade of cherry blossoms for both.

Bridesmaid dresses and robes

While the cherry blossoms are just adorable in real life, they look beautiful as a print too! Whether it is in the reception table or as a pretty bloom in your getting-ready robes, they will look amazing. If you want something beautifully attention-grabbing for your special day, you can consider having your bridesmaids wear matching cherry blossom printed dresses for the wedding ceremony. But if that’s too much for your cherry-blossom-themed wedding, you can keep it under wraps by going all out in the getting ready session! Go for fun cherry blossom prints in your robes as you get ready with your besties, and we promise, it will make the most amazing addition to your wedding photography!

The drinks

Spring drinks are made extra special when they come dressed in the essence of the season. In the spirit of being on theme, you can dress up your chosen drink for your spring wedding day in a myriad of different ways. Whether it is adding red coloring to your drink so that it has that sweet romantic pale pink color, or add a sprig of cherry blossom on your drink solely for decorative purposes, whether it is adding cherries to your drink, or letting one lone tiny flower swim on your glass, you can go as creative as you want! Letting the cherry blossom theme flow naturally to the wedding day drink will only make it that much more cohesive, bringing the whole vibe together perfectly.

The arch

The arch or the arbor under which you say “I Do” to your sweetheart is a place that gets a lot of spotlight on your wedding day. So why not make it the most amazing and stunning piece of art that your guests have laid eyes on? A cherry blossom-decorated arbor will do exactly that! Cherry blossoms have a quality that makes them light and airy, while still being extremely romantic and all-consuming, the same way baby’s breath flowers do. So it’s quite easy to make a bold statement with cherry blossoms, because of its sheer length and volume! Whether you are decorating your wedding chuppah or your arch, lining it with real or artificial cherry blossoms, it will instantly take it up a notch. Another refreshing way to go about it, especially if you are hosting an outdoor ceremony is to say our vows under a real blooming cherry blossom tree! Nothing can really beat that!

Sweet table

With cherry blossoms all around, it’s only natural it makes an appearance on the sweet table! The possibilities are endless, whether it’s delicate and elegant biscuits created with floral cookie cutters and dipped in pink chocolate, or macaroons hand-painted with cherry blossom branches and flowers in pinks and whites. You can have a lot of fun coming up with various fun and creative ideas for your cherry blossom-themed dessert table! Another fun idea doesn’t get easier or cuter than this. Dragees or tiny macaroons should be placed in favor boxes with notched petals and you can make a typical five-petaled cherry blossom by arranging five of these unique forms in a circle. These can be a part of the sweet table or can work well for wedding favors too!

There is something about the delicately feminine, elegant, and unique nature of a cherry blossom that goes perfectly with the light and airy spring vibe. If the cherry blossoms have managed to steal your heart, we hope these fun cherry blossom ideas were helpful for your gorgeous spring wedding plans. After all, what says spring louder than cherry blossoms?

How many gallons of popcorn will I need for _____ number of wedding guests for my wedding day?

Well, the factor of ordering the number of popcorns depends a little bit on how much food and the varieties you are putting down on your wedding menu! If you are planning a complete sit-down meal with lots of finger food, then you might consider ordering 1.5 to 2 cups of popcorn per wedding guest! But, if you are planning to have the popcorn bar as the star of your wedding celebration, then you must go with 2 to 3 cups of popcorn per guest! Just keep in mind that some of your wedding guests might not eat popcorn and the kids will have some extra. So, just plan in a way that you may want to have more than you think you need!

Just some maths here, that will help you with your question! On average, a 2-gallon bulk bag of popcorns will serve 32-1 cup servings. Whereas, a 4-gallon bulk popcorn bulk bag will have about 64-1 cup serving!

Just for an example, if you are planning on a grand celebration with about 128 to 200 of your wedding guests, as per the above-mentioned details, you will want to purchase a minimum of 8 gallons for each guest to have one-1 cup serving of popcorn!

What is the usual serving size?

Talking about the serving size, then you must plan that your wedding guests will eat an average of 1 to 2 cups of popped corn per person! But, if you want to be more precise and don’t wanna waste any food, then you can determine the amount of popcorn (by volume) the individual containers will hold in order to determine an individual serving size for your popcorn bar at your wedding!

To get a brief and generic idea, you can fill one of your containers for your wedding guests with popped popcorn, and then pour the popped popcorn into a measuring cup to actually determine the volume (preferably in cups) that the container will hold!

This simple and easy method will help you to get an approximate idea about the typical serving size of popped popcorn on your wedding day. And this way you won’t be wasting any food and your wedding guests will have enough popcorn to savor!

How long before my wedding should I order my popcorn?

You can always place an order for popcorn for your wedding day as early as you would like! When you will submit the order you will be asked to specify your preferred shipping date, and you can choose whatever you find the best! Most brides and wedding planners prefer to get the popcorn delivered about 3-4 days before the wedding to alleviate any kind of last-minute stress and chaos! Or you can always schedule a future shipping date for your popcorn to arrive!

If you don’t want to schedule a future shipping date then we will suggest you place an order a week and a half to two weeks before your wedding day so that the popcorns arrive on time and also stay as fresh as possible for your big and special day!

What kind of theme should I consider for my wedding day popcorn bar?

It’s your wedding day and we are sure that you have already planned every inch of your wedding day in your head! But, if you ask us, all we will say is whatever inspires you and your sweetheart! Or will you go for a cart or trolley that screams retro at its best? Or you want things to be simple, elegant, and classy, so just want to go with a minimalist console table? Or maybe you will try something fun like a couple of ladders and a vintage door as a shelf between them? Choose it as per your choice and then add a table cloth or a runner and pair it with some blooms and greenery if you want! The choice is completely all yours! You never know, maybe a well-decorated popcorn bar becomes the centerpiece of your wedding day!

Signage

No bar or food station goes without a sign on a wedding day! So, you will need at least one large signage to point at the bar and some cute little smaller tags or signs to mark each type of popcorn you display on the popcorn bar! To make your signages more attractive and alluring, you can also consider hanging banners or can bring in some string lights to accentuate the station! Choose the style of signage that perfectly fits your wedding theme and style. If you ask us, chalkboards are the most popular signages these days! Well, you can also try something vintage, modern and chic, along with many other styles, looks, and frames depending on your wedding day theme!

In the luxury wedding cake trends, we will see more couples dabble in wafer paper wedding cakes to make a bold statement. As a nod to retro wedding trends, acrylic wedding cakes will arrive with confections featuring clear acrylic tiers along with a clear and transparent tier. This transparent cake tier will act like a divider which will create an amazing and never-before-seen floating illusion and add to the height of the wedding cake. Just like some of the most gorgeous wedding cakes of 2021, 2022 wedding cake trends will also see a rise in sculptural wedding cakes featuring wedding confections that will mimic an entire art gallery or act as a testament to some of the most timeless arts from around the world. And two of the most timeless wedding cake designs– semi-naked and fondant wedding cakes are going to stay for a while, but we will see certain versatile additions to this trend like beautiful sculpting techniques, hand painting, and an abundance of textures.

Wedding Color Trends 2022

According to the prediction by wedding experts, wedding color trends for 2022 will see a rise in powder blues and millennial pinks, which were considered to be prime color trends of the 80s. While the trendy wedding colors of 2021 also saw a rise in powder blue alongside lavender, matcha green, papaya orange, and Tuscany yellow, the prediction surrounding wedding color palettes of 2022 show a resurgence of vintage metallics and moody earthy tones. Color palettes of wedding reception trends 2022 will be a huge comeback from the art deco and all Hollywood eras. From warm earthy hues with colors like burnt sienna and marigold yellow popping up in wedding details to vintage accent colors like gold and midnight blue metallic paint are likely to make a comeback. Vintage accent colors will mostly be seen in details like metallic reception chairs, table sliders, or even Moscow Mule featuring as the signature cocktail and served in copper mugs. We are also most likely to see vibrant jewel tones and moody winter color palettes in the latter half of the year.

Wedding Flower Trends 2022

Non-traditional wedding flowers will be hot for 2022! Bohemian and eco-friendly wedding aesthetics like dried flower details will be one of the major wedding flower trends in 2022. Dried wedding flowers can come in many ways to reflect in your wedding color palette and be added to almost every element of your wedding reception- from bridesmaids’ bouquets to reception tablescapes. As the floral industry is getting ready for a smashing wedding season in 2022, we are also seeing wedding greenery as an earthy floral element and one of the most emerging wedding flower trends for 2022. Greenery draped florals, ground installations, staircases, and even wedding altars and aisles are expected to be a gorgeous wedding flower trend for 2022. As dried florals and greenery details engulf wedding décor trends 2022, we are also expecting to see a surge in romantic and dreamy weddings that are reminiscent of the French countryside.

Wedding Décor Trends 2022

Wedding décor trends in 2022 will see the increased popularity of greenery and dry flowers in wedding details. As we are going to experience a surge in reduced wedding sizes, with a limited number of people, couples will opt for personalized elements and inspirations. 2022 wedding trends when it comes to wedding décor will be a display of vintage-inspired statement-making wedding details which will bring a dose of beatnik and unconventional flair. We are going to see a lot of statement-hanging wedding décor details like suspended lanterns in ceilings and high back peacock chairs in welcome tables, along with rattan lounge furniture and assorted wicker baskets decking up the wedding décor ideas. Organic style arrangements will also be an integral part of the celebrations as per wedding trends for 2022. This post-pandemic wedding trend in 2022 will be about creating free-flowing and organic style arrangements on a larger-than-life scale. Hence we are more likely to see organic and earthy wedding color palettes, the use of vines and greens instead of traditional wedding flowers, and hanging floral centerpieces as means to bring the outdoors in.

Wedding Food Trends 2022

Swaying away from traditional wedding food menu options, wedding food trends 2022 are showing a steep rise in comfort and homemade food, unlike high-end meals coming from big-named caterers. However, wedding food decisions differ greatly from couple to couple, as we see traditional couples still indulging in gourmet food prepared by renowned wedding caterers and budget couples opting for a homemade food menu that is prepared by their close ones. But one of the primary wedding reception trends for 2022 when it comes to food and drinks comfort food is likely to become a hit in 2022. As a nod to nostalgia, wedding food trends of 2022 will most likely have couples prepare their summer wedding cocktails with tasty recipes and served with childhood snacks like grilled cheese sandwiches and chicken sliders. Home staples like casseroles and fried chicken will become wedding staples in 2022! Couples are also most likely to go for vegan catering options and street food vans as a strong nod to DIY wedding trends.

Wedding Stationery Trends In 2022

If the pandemic in 2022 has taught us anything, it will certainly be how precious things are! As couples are becoming more environmentally conscious, they are most likely to incorporate digital trends into their wedding plans as a step towards eco-friendly wedding planning in 2022. As per wedding invitation trends for 2022 couples are choosing to go paperless. Hence, instead of traditional invites, we will see a rise in digital wedding invites and several paperless wedding choices like digital save-the-dates and announcements. Most of the traditional wedding stationery details are most likely to be replaced with digital wedding experiences in 2022, from digital reception table arrangement displays to online wedding announcements.

In the same way that small-scale wedding parties became more popular in 2020 and 2021, intimate wedding parties will most certainly stay popular in 2022. Outdoor wedding themes will be reflected in post-pandemic weddings in 2022 as couples rediscover the beauty of reconnecting with mother nature. Sustainable and eco-friendly wedding trends will gain traction, and with the advancement of technology, we will see paperless wedding details, digital announcements, and wedding suites replacing traditional wedding stationery.

Simplicity will shine in 2022 weddings, unlike traditional extravagant wedding celebrations. With the suspension of formal wedding celebrations due to safety reasons, couples are likely to realize the preciousness of small wedding celebration experiences with neutral and warm earthy tones along with vintage style settings. And due to guest list restrictions, intimate weddings with small wedding guest lists will be the new normal for 2022 wedding celebrations.

Minimalist wedding style is another wedding trend that says “less is more” and we are most likely to see blank space wedding spaces with creative wedding signage ideas and neutral wedding décor details. These post-pandemic wedding trends and predictions for 2022 will be flexible for couples and they do not have to compromise on anything related to their celebration. From hosting an extravagant wedding within your budget to going for an intimate staycation in a popular glamping site for your honeymoon, the sky’s the limit when it comes to wedding planning details of 2022.

Classy Christmas Wedding Ideas And Details

Christmas inspired wedding cake

What do Christmas and weddings have in common? A big fat gorgeous cake! From a classic three-tiered wedding cake dressed up with pinecones, cranberries, and mistletoe to a boldly designed red and white Christmas wedding cake topped with jingle bells and candy canes, Christmas wedding cake inspirations are endless. Different cake adornments like pine cones, berries, and pine needles are often associated with Christmas-inspired wedding cakes which can make you definitely feel the air of the holiday season. A simple and chic all-white wedding cake can also be dressed up with fresh cranberries, holly, or sugar flowers to jazz up a simple white fondant confection. If wedding cake is not your thing, then you can slightly hint at the Christmas season by bringing in certain unique wedding desserts and dishes that can easily take on a holiday form, like Christmas tree-shaped canapés made with cucumbers, cheese, and nuts.

Christmas wedding décor

Greenery is a special and natural choice for dressing up at a Christmas wedding. It is also one of the best inspirations for a winter big day as it is flexible and can be used in many unexpected ways. For instance, long green garlands can be used to line the tent draping, chandeliers, and pool along with accented berries and classic red ribbons to make it all the more Christmassy! Another Christmas wedding detail idea is the use of jingle bells in different details. From giving out jingle bells as wedding favors to adorning simple white fondant wedding cakes with jingle bells, there are several elevated takes on the Christmas tradition and many ways to embrace it. You can also create homey holiday vibes by hanging drapes of greenery along with pinecone-accented wreaths, gathering Christmas trees, and modern wrapped orbs just like you would do at your home.

Christmas wedding invitations

Christmas-inspired wedding stationery ideas are mostly inspired by holiday design themes which will most likely stand out in a way that makes things clear for your guests. Just like the invitation suite sets the tone for the big day, your Christmas invitation suite will likely set the scene for a Christmas-themed wedding photo gallery or album. For your holiday wedding, it is time to embrace the season by styling paper goods with accents like greenery, ribbons, and ornaments. You should never shy away from using red and green while designing your Christmas wedding invitation themes. You can always complement the shades with earth tones, metallic accents, and winter blues on your invitations, save the dates, menus, and place cards. The goal here is to make your wedding stationery stand out enough so that your guests take immediate notice of the holiday wedding theme.

Christmas wedding favors and welcome gifts

Luxurious wedding favor ideas during the colder months are all about celebrating the festive cheer of the season. You can consider combining the festive gift ideas with traditional wedding gift inspirations to say thanks to everyone attending your wedding. For instance, Christmas ornaments inscribed with your monogram or wedding date can be a great welcome addition to your guestbook. Christmas wedding favor ideas can also involve DIY projects like handmade jams with seasonal spice, handcrafted candles, snow globes, baked goods, and late-season wines. These terrific Christmas-inspired wedding favor ideas can subtly welcome your guests to the big December wedding and can match with any destination, theme, or color palette.

Christmas themed cocktail reception

Incorporating flavors like peppermint, cranberry, and eggnog in your ravishing Christmas-themed cocktail party can be a nostalgic spin to the good old Christmas flavors. You can bring in holiday-themed cocktails like champagnes and a luxurious selection of wines and add a dose of Christmas charm to completely make it your own. Festive wedding cocktails are the typical Christmas cocktails that include certain signature recipes like “Love Potion” or “Merry Mule.” You can add your own spin by presenting your assortment of Christmas wedding cocktails in an ice bucket with frozen berries and pine needles. Hot beverages and cocktails are also good for warming up when the temperature outside is freezing. You can serve some of the season’s most beloved hot cocktails, like mulled wine, buttered rum, spiked apple cider, and hot toddies, as well as non-alcoholic options like hot chocolate, coffee, and herbal tea.

Christmas themed wedding color palette

Before you go out all red and green for your Christmas wedding, consider picking your favorite holiday hues with metallic and natural accents to bring in a luxurious and royal charm. For instance, you can bring in mid-century modern rental furniture, textured linens, and flocked Christmas trees in a more natural wedding color palette and accent them with Christmas-inspired wedding colors instead of making your wedding look like a gift wrapping paper.

Christmas wedding flowers

Christmas wedding flowers can also be combined with a lot of greenery and dry flowers. Since natural flowers become sparse during this time of the year, wedding flower options like potted amaryllis flowers can be great to pair with your winter wedding décor. Instead of traditional wedding flowers, you can also go for a dried-up tree branch wrapped up with fairy lights and surrounded by votive candles and garlands of white flowers to keep with the winter wedding theme. Pine cones and green garlands can be a great option for your alternate winter wedding flowers.

Christmas reception tablescapes

When deciding on the reception table décor for your Christmas wedding, you need to decide whether you want it to be clean and minimal or ornate and colorful. Both kinds of Christmas wedding tablescapes come with their own individual charm. While busy reception tablescapes are full of excitement and provide your guests with a lot of interest and photo ops, clean and minimal tablescapes provide guests with lots of room to pass the plate and encourage them to talk and hit the dance floor. To make it more Christmas-oriented, you can include personalized details like a signature napkin with a wordplay quote or monograms so that your guests can take them home in fond memory. Another idea is to use a special quote with a name tag and add it to every wedding detail from wedding signage to cocktail names and invitations in a complete holiday-themed design.

Christmas themed wedding lighting

Another amazing wedding planning inspiration is to incorporate wedding lighting that sets the tone for the entire celebration. Decking up your reception space with mood lighting is one of the most fun parts of planning a wedding. Christmas wedding lighting ideas can start with a well-lit Christmas tree and garlands that can transform the entire event space into something magical. Also, string lights can play a vital role in setting the mood for a Christmas wedding. Whether you choose colorful bulbs or stick with the classic white string light, adding them to your wedding venue will amp up the space and make it undeniably cheerful and cozy. You can string them across the ceiling, around doorways, in the trees, or even use them as an addition to a decorative floral arch.

Grand Christmas wedding send-off

Make it snow, make it glow! Grand wedding send-offs are memorably creative and stay with us for a long time. Ask your guests to make their own snowflakes in the form of a confetti shower and send you off to your exotic honeymoon as you sign off for the big wedding day. Sparkler wedding exits can also add a magical charm to your wedding exit idea. And if you are the eco-conscious type, then opt for a vintage red bus to make your grand wedding exit at the end of the Christmas wedding night.

Christmas menu ideas

Dining is made easy with our Christmas wedding. Your Christmas wedding menu can involve your traditional holiday-inspired menu with a few romantic upgrades. Christmas dinners are already special and if you’re hosting your wedding on this special day, then do not forget to include certain Christmas staples like gingerbread cookies, festive Christmas drinks, cookie pops, chocolate-covered pretzels, and gingerbread men. You can also add healthy Christmas alternatives in your food menu like fruits stacked into a snowman or Santa shape, celery sticks stuffed with peanut butter in the shape of reindeer, and a good old charcuterie board.

Christmas wedding dress ideas

As a bride who is hosting a winter wedding on or around Christmas Day, you can opt to play your part by wearing a Christmas-themed wedding dress with lace sleeves, intricate layers, and warm wraps! A Christmas bridal outfit can be anything from a chic ball gown with embellishments and endless yards of organza, lace, or tulle or a lace wedding dress with a combination of ornate lace and tonal beading mimicking the intricacy of a snowflake. Lace-adorned long sleeve wedding dresses can also keep your arms from feeling chilly on the big day celebration. As a subtle alternative to the traditional white gown, you can also opt for wedding dresses in blush tones and champagne hues. Outfits of your bridesmaids can also be planned in deep and dark shades in fabrics like satin that offers a luxurious shine to contrast the wintery landscape.

The benefits of a Christmas wedding are not only limited to holiday-inspired wedding décor and festive wedding ideas, but your wedding can be the ultimate time where all your loved ones come under one roof and take some time off to be with each other. It’s also nice to get out of town at this time of the year with cold and snow engulfing certain parts of the world and exotic beach wedding destinations turning even dreamier. So you can take your best pick for a dream honeymoon getaway right after your Christmas wedding. Also for couples who love minimalist wedding ideas, the chances are that your wedding halls will already be decked with built-in themes and it will take a very little effort to transform it into something that is uniquely your own. Upscaling your Christmas décor and turning it into your wedding décor ideas is another great way to repurpose wedding décor elements for having an eco-chic wedding.

A Christmas wedding in December can be an ideal opportunity to celebrate the best of this festive season and throw an amazing holiday wedding party that will send your guests home smiling. From bright winter holiday cocktails to decking up the wedding halls in white, green, and red details, there are so many chic ways to host your Christmas wedding. If throwing fake snow all over your wedding is your idea of going overboard and tacky, then there are pretty chic Christmas wedding details that can add colors to your favorite winter whites in an elevated way that sprinkles a dose of holiday magic sparingly and intentionally.
