Now that the big rock shines on your ring finger, it’s time to say yes to wedding planning! But the first question will always be “where do I start?” Planning a wedding can be one of the most exciting as well as overwhelming experiences for every bride across the globe, whether it is a classy Christmas wedding while cruising down south or an intimate B&B wedding with cozy details. With so many details to take care of along with maintaining hundreds of lists, it all comes down to these months. But don’t feel pressured! You will sail through the already charted waters of wedding planning sessions when you have the perfect wedding inspirations at your disposal.

From looking for a great videographer for capturing your wedding to getting all your loved ones ready for the big day to throwing an amazing and memorable engagement party, things are just about to get exciting! We all have seen how groomsmen and bridesmaid proposal ideas have become a trendy way for couples to decide on their closest people and make them stand by their side on the big wedding day. But they aren’t the only members who are going to be a part of your wedding party who deserves your love and attention. Do not forget those little ones in your wedding party who will be coveted as adorable flower girls and cute ring bearers! Just like asking your bridesmaids to be a part of your bridal party is significant and needs planning, asking your flower girl to garner “awws” from guests as they traipse down the aisle is fun and beautiful wedding tradition that needs planning too. The littlest members of the wedding party should also be treated like VIPs, just like the bridesmaids and groomsmen.

These adorable cutie-pies also add to the lightheartedness and whimsy of a wedding day. Having a flower girl walk the aisle before you is also a great way to deflect the nervousness that you might be facing on your big day. It also showcases the love you have towards the kid’s parents as much as you want them included on the most special day of your life, which can be a lasting gift to the children as well as the parents. So you will want these spots to be filled with someone very special to you. From including nieces to including your best friend’s little girl, choosing your flower girl is also a great way to include friends and family in your wedding. Also if you have more than one niece or cousin, you do not need to decide who you love more to be a part of the wedding party. You can assign more than one child for each wedding role and it’s a very common thing to include multiple flower girls in a wedding ceremony. But there are certain things to consider while planning for your flower girl. As it is a big responsibility to hold objects that will be used in the wedding ceremony, the flower girl’s role should be given to a child who will be able to carry out the assignment given to them. And here are some foolproof tips for getting your flower girl down the aisle and celebrating her on the biggest day of your life.

Here are some of the best tips and ideas for your flower girl

Have the flower girl walk with her parent

For good reason, the majority of flower girls are between the ages of three and eight. Younger children are more likely to act out because they don’t understand the wedding rituals and traditions. If you are hiring a toddler as an attendant, consider having one or both of their parents accompany them down the aisle, as young children feel more at ease when they are accompanied by trusted adults. Having a parent walk down the aisle with them is a lot better than a child refusing and not walking down the aisle at all. Allowing all the flower girls to walk together may also help to avoid nerves or tantrums.

Give your flower girl enough time to rehearse

You have heard of the phrase “practice makes everything perfect.” While the flower girl should participate in the wedding rehearsal, it’s also important to give her plenty of other opportunities to practice before that. Make it a game by having her show you her walk now and then. This will provide her with plenty of opportunities to perfect her walk and gain confidence. This flower girl idea is especially important for younger flower girls who may not have the same level of confidence as an older kid. Have your flower girls practice their entrance several times before the ceremony, and do this as close to the actual processional time as possible. If you rely solely on the ceremony rehearsal, the child may have trouble remembering the directions because they aren’t fresh in their minds. Moreover, the atmosphere at the actual ceremony will be very different from the rehearsal. Keep in mind that you won’t always get the same stellar performance as the day before. When the entire wedding venue will be packed with strangers, a child may experience social anxiety.

Give her the best proposal

Aren’t we all fans of amazing proposal ideas? So why not uniquely propose to your flower girl so that she feels special too. Ask her to be your flower girl in a fun way. There are a lot of ideas on Pinterest for this, but some of our favorites are the classic ring pop proposal, giving her a book about being a flower girl, and giving her a puzzle to put together with the word “proposal” written on it.

Try talking about the importance of their role

If your flower girl is older than four, talk to her about the significance of her role in the ceremony. Knowing how special this job is will motivate them to do a fantastic job. Kids enjoy knowing that they have a significant role to play in such an important event. The more you can do to make them excited about walking down the aisle, the more likely they are to enjoy and fully participate. Before the wedding, speak with the child’s parents and have them hype up the child’s “special job” in the days leading up to the ceremony.

Spend time together

While most little girls would love to be a flower girl in a ceremony, walking down the aisle in front of a crowd is bound to be nerve-wracking. Set aside sometime a few weeks before the wedding to do something fun with your flower girl alone. This will help put her at ease and show her that you can be trusted.

Get her gifts and treats

Bribes are irresistible to children of all ages! Enlist a parent or a member of the bridal party to hold a treat at the front of the aisle if you are working with younger children. In theory, the goodies will distract the child during the process, causing them to focus all of their energy on obtaining the item. If you are working with older children, a parent can promise to give them a prized toy after the wedding if they behave well during the processional. Give your flower girl a small gift as a token of appreciation for her attendance at your wedding on the day of the wedding. Though there are many different options out there, a sparkling necklace or a cute pair of shoes will not only bring delight but also make her look extra cute while walking down the aisle.

Schedule some downtime

Little kids may quickly become exhausted due to the unfamiliarity and fast pace of wedding day functions. Make sure they have some downtime during the big day. This is especially important if you plan to have small children present for any pre-ceremony photos. In a nutshell, the less time you have to spend taking pictures before the wedding, the better your chances of getting a cooperative ring bearer or flower girl.

Keep them busy

Let’s face it: most small children are utterly bored during a wedding, including in the moments leading up to the ceremony. Distractions like an iPad to play on before the ceremony can help deal with this boredom. You can also keep snacks on hand to avoid hunger tantrums. Stick to foods like string cheese, fruit, crackers, and puffs that are easy to transport and won’t make a mess.

Help her to feel included

Including your flower girl in all of the pre-wedding functions with you and the girls will help her feel more involved in the festivities while also calming her nerves. Just make sure that if she gets her hair done, you choose a style that is easy to recreate. Sitting in the stylist’s chair for hours on end can be exhausting for young children. In the event of an emergency, her parents should always be nearby.

Co-ordinate the flower girl look

Consider having the flower girl’s outfit coordinate with you or the wedding party when planning what she will wear. If your bridesmaids have updos, give her one as well. If you are getting your makeup done professionally, add a little glitz to her look. This will make her feel more included in the group and put her at ease!

Everyone loves watching a cute-as-a-button flower girl make her way down the aisle during a wedding ceremony, but a lot goes into making this little one feel comfortable and included in your nuptials. Every bride has her ideas for what their flower girl should do, but she usually walks down the aisle in front of the bride or maid of honor, scattering rose petals in their path. Because many venues no longer allow petals to be strewn across the floor, modern flower girls often carry a basket of flowers or a miniature bouquet instead. After the flower girl has walked down the aisle, her main responsibilities include looking adorable and posing for wedding photos. During the ceremony, older flower girls may stand at the altar with the bridesmaids, while younger flower girls usually sit with their parents or grandparents.

Including the little girls in your big day is a fun wedding tradition as these adorable kids not only make some amazing wedding photo ops but also come with a big responsibility of preparing the wedding aisle with flower petals for the bride’s grand entrance. Having a flower girl at your wedding ceremony is not just another wedding party role that needs to be filled up. It is said that the smallest members of the wedding party tend to have a big impact on creating some of the most memorable wedding moments. The role of a flower girl can be a relatable experience for all your guests as she walks down the aisle carrying flower petals or blowing bubbles, which will go a long way to bind the guests with a sense of innocence that comes with the inclusion of these little ones. The flower girl’s role also reminds everyone present at your wedding ceremony of something as pure as the love between the to-be married couple.

The flower girls and ring bearers are the cutest members of your wedding party. It may seem impossible to get a small child to walk down the aisle without crying or throwing a tantrum. From the perspective of the children, consider the following: They are asked to walk down a pathway while tossing flower petals or holding a pillow in front of dozens of people who are staring and taking photos. Can you blame them if they are having stage fright? Fortunately, the above-mentioned flower girl tips are a few simple steps you can take to ensure that your young guests have a wonderful time on the big day. These ideas and tips can be great to get your flower girl to walk down the aisle like a little fairy and pull everyone’s heartstrings!

From the season’s choicest berries to the tropical flavors, here are some spring desserts ideas for your wedding!

Spring weddings are a crowd favorite and there are no surprises as to why! One look out of your window into the garden will give you all the answers. However, like every wedding, a spring wedding comes with a long list of agendas!

Planning a wedding, spring or not, can be quite an undertaking! The beauty of the season offers tons of options, and that doesn’t help your dilemma! You want your wedding day to be perfect. To stitch your dream wedding together, it’s best to prepare months in advance. After all, there are so many colors to choose from, so many themes and decor ideas to take a call on, trends to keep up with and so many flowers to take your pick from! Understandably, a person would want to ensure that they pick the best options so that they end up creating amazing memories with their significant other on the big day. You surely wouldn’t want to make things go disarray then. Thus, it’s better and even recommended to start preparing well in advance. After all, there are a lot of tasks that you have to take care of. One of the most important aspects of any wedding is the wedding menu that you will be using in it.

Food is something that can make or break a wedding. That’s because most of the guests look forward to the buffet after the ceremony. Therefore, it’s recommended that you pick the dishes carefully. While the options available to you might be overwhelming and abundant, it is important to get choosy and consider the taste of every dish. Many people as well as wedding planners don’t pay attention to the desserts, except for the wedding cake. The wedding cake tends to overshadow all the other desserts on the menu. If you end up picking desserts that stand out and surpass the wedding cake, your guests will end up remembering your wedding for a long time.

Before we get into spring desserts for weddings, let us take you through what a spring wedding is. Moreover, it’s important for you to know the perks of a spring wedding and why a lot of people prefer it over summer and winter weddings.

Perks of a Spring Wedding

Right after the winter blues comes the happy season of spring. And it’s the perfect time to have a wedding or any social event for that matter. It’s considered one of the most romantic seasons out of all. Moreover, the weather is neither too cold nor too hot. One major reason why many people like to have their weddings in spring is that it’s considered the most romantic season of all with the perfect weather and abundant flowers! There are a lot of beautiful blooms during this season, and they can be used to decorate your wedding to the fullest. With a variety of flowers, you can pump up the aesthetics to the roof. And you’ll probably end up getting a lot of beautiful bouquets as gifts too.

Early spring is also the perfect season for some truly memorable outdoor weddings as the outdoor venues will be blooming with the season’s freshest blooms, setting the stage for the most amazing day of your life. Whether you are going in for a tropical spring wedding or an English tea-party-inspired affair, you will be spoilt for choices, without having to fight for the spot as you will have to do for summer weddings or autumn weddings!

On top of everything, your guests will probably be in a better mood throughout your wedding. This is due to the pleasant weather and the fact that winter must’ve just gotten over. Most of us spend our winters tucked in our blankets and spending time at home. It is only during the spring that people who live in extremely cold areas start to go outside. Thus, they are in higher spirits than usual. That’s why you’re more likely to have a lively wedding during early spring. Another perk of a spring wedding is that your guests will be able to enjoy their food a bit better. As the weather won’t be too extreme on either side, they’ll be able to eat in a relaxed atmosphere. Moreover, they can try cold dishes as well as hot ones as the weather will be quite moderate. And you’ll be able to increase the range of items in the buffet. That brings us to the spring desserts that you might want to include in your wedding buffet. These desserts can make your wedding unforgettable and they’ll be perfect to have after a scrumptious dinner.

Unforgettable Spring Desserts to Consider!

Spring desserts are special and there is a ton of liberty that one can take in terms of flavors. From the season’s choicest berries to the tropical flavors, from light-as-air textures to tart bites, the options are endless! Here is a list of some spring desserts that can make your wedding stand out pretty well.

Blooming Embroidered Cupcakes

Cupcakes can be the cutest and tastiest desserts if done right. What’s even better are those embroidered cupcakes that not only serve as tasty desserts but also as an aesthetic component for your wedding. Ask your venue manager if they can arrange some embroidered cupcakes. If they can’t, it’s a good idea to get them pre-ordered from a decent bakery. The process of making embroidered cupcakes is not that complicated to be fair. All you need to do is ice them with a spatula and then use the tip of something to make flowery designs. If done right, they’ll look so pretty that your guests will stare at them for a solid 10 minutes before eating them.

Designer Fondant Egg Cookies

If you’re not into culinary, then perhaps you won’t know what fondant is. It’s a type of icing that is used to sculpt cakes and a variety of other desserts. It is made from sugar, gelatin, water, vegetable fat, and glycerol. It’s one of the preferred icings among culinary artists. Fondant egg cookies exude an artistic vibe if you paint them well. To paint them, all you need to do is mix the icing with lemon extract. Make sure that you have icings of different colors and you mix them all with lemon extract. After that, you can use those mixtures as watercolors. Once that is done, the sky and your creative potential are the limits to how amazing those cookies end up looking. There are also edible ink pens available in the market that are designed for the very purpose of decorating food items. You can use these pens for details. If you don’t believe us, you can jump on the internet and take a look at how beautiful these cookies can look. You’ll be mesmerized by what people have done with fondant egg cookies in terms of design.

Berry Ice Cream

It’s the evergreen dessert that everyone loves and adores. A buffet is never complete without some ice cream to go with it. One tip that you should heed when it comes to ice cream is to have multiple flavors available at the venue. Not all people like the same flavors. To play it safe, make sure that you have the trinity available – chocolate, strawberry, vanilla. On top of those, you can include some other flavors too. That’s where you can get creative. For instance, you can include the mint flavor to stand out. Perhaps have some black current available. While the options may be endless, in the end, it’s up to you which flavors of ice cream to include. But what’s important is to have multiple flavors of ice cream available at the buffet.

Floral Cones

Floral cones are perhaps the most artistic piece of dessert that you’ll find on this list. These are waffle cones with a little bit of cupcake inside them. These are then decorated with buttercream shapes and freeform candy. You can use these to make the cones seem like conical vases with flowers coming out of them. We’re pretty sure that a lot of guests will end up thinking that they’re a part of the decorations and not something edible. Moreover, if done right, you can match them with the visual aesthetics of your wedding and the venue. That will take the aesthetics of the wedding to a whole new level.

Designer Donuts

Donuts are another item that holds immense decorative potential. They come in a lot of flavors and you can customize them to your will. Make use of buttercream, jellybeans, M&Ms, chocolate cream, and whatnot to have a wide variety of tastes available in desserts. From strawberry to glazed sugar, your donuts will have every flavor. And that’ll make your guests happy as everyone has a different taste when it comes to things like bagels and donuts.

Croissants

If you’re looking to add a touch of class to your buffet table, then it won’t be a bad idea to go all-out French with your guests. Give your guests a glimpse of the French cuisine by including croissants in the desserts. Croissants taste amazing to most people as they are quite buttery and flaky. It’s a dessert that not even diabetic people pass upon. One interesting fact about this dish is that it originated in Austria, even though it is associated with France. Thus, it’ll add a whole European vibe to your wedding.

Rosy Rosette Cookies

Rosy Rosette Cookies can be another visually-pleasing dessert item at your wedding. They are very easy to make and they look amazing. All you need to do to prepare them is buy some pre-made cookies. After that, use buttercream of various colors to decorate those cookies according to the color palette of your wedding. We recommend that you have some pink ones on display as they look amazing. Apart from that, they even have a decent taste. So, in the end, it’s a win-win situation.

Spring Floral Cake

In most spring desserts, the idea is to include designs and aesthetics that are flowery. Keeping true to that line of artistic vision, the spring floral cake made with a lot of buttercream is perhaps the best pick for most early spring weddings. It’s a time when there are a lot of flower blooms. So why not have that reflected in your desserts? A spring floral cake is made by icing one’s cake with buttercream. Once that is done, you can use an edible ink pen or even a toothpick to carve out designs.

Ice Cream Cakes

When it comes to desserts, what better option is there than to mix the two of the most popular desserts in the world – ice cream and cake. Ice cream cakes are extremely tasty and just heavenly. They’re loved by children and adults alike. Moreover, the available flavors are abundant. So, there are a lot of options for you to choose from. What’s more, is that you can even replace your wedding cake with an ice cream cake. Ice cream cakes are slowly phasing out traditional cakes.

Eclairs

If you’re looking for something sweet and little, then opting for some multi-flavored eclairs might be a good idea. For instance, you can go for white chocolate raspberry eclairs. There are a lot of flavors and combinations that you can go for. The sky’s the limit. And your guests will love the idea of having a snack-like dessert being available at the buffet. One upside of having such desserts is that your guests can keep coming back to the dessert stand in-between meals.

Strawberry Shortcakes

There is something about tart berries in the fresh and refreshing springtime that feels like a match made in heaven. Strawberry shortcakes scream springtime like nothing else. Strawberry shortcakes are individual variations of strawberry shortcakes with basil for a herbaceous flavor, and they pair perfectly with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream for a sweet finish!

Carrot Cake

There’s no way a list of spring wedding meal ideas could be complete without a mention of carrot cake. This classic and delectable spring treat can be transformed into a distinctive and exquisite wedding day dessert in a variety of ways. You may serve carrot cake as a wedding cake, cupcakes, cake pops, or even serve it to all your wedding guests in shot glasses for an elegant and distinctive tiny spring wedding dessert.

Monogram Cream Tart Cake

Monograms are popular for a variety of wedding day decorations decor, but nothing beats a monogram cake! Layers of sponge cake and buttercream frosting are topped with edible flowers and sugar pearls in this trendy take. It’s a wonderful centerpiece for wedding parties, and it’s a fun way to commemorate your newly shared surname!

Enchanting Rose Garden Cupcakes

The gorgeous garden cupcakes would be ideal for a backyard wedding, don’t you think? If you want to truly give an ode to the season on your wedding day, go for this gorgeous rose cupcake which comes as tiny plants. Place them on a cake stand or a dessert table with some nice paper doilies underneath. This will go perfectly with the spirit of the season and everything that it represents! These will also work beautifully with a spring garden wedding!

Coconut Lime Tart

Coconut lime tart’s tropical coconut and lime flavor will make all of your wedding guests feel as though winter is truly behind them. The combination of coconut and lime creates a particular zingy sweetness, but you can be creative and use other citrus tastes, such as lemon, without losing any of the magic in this spring wedding dessert.

S’More Kits

S’mores are a simple and crowd-pleasing dessert that can be served at any time of year. Whether it is the alluring springtime with the promise of summer in the air or the nippy autumn, you can’t go wrong with smores, as it brings all the cozy vibes with it. Place a marshmallow and chocolate bar sandwiched between two graham crackers in a cellophane bag for a treat your guests will appreciate.

When it comes to desserts, you shouldn’t get lax. Make sure that you try to get the best possible spring dessert items for your wedding. They should not only be tasty but also visually pleasing. You might want to balance it out by having some unorthodox dessert items along with some traditional ones like ice creams. In the end, it’s about what makes your guests happy. And in spring, there will be a lot of dessert options to choose from. Another thing that you should remember is that you can always venture out of the continent when considering what dessert items to include at your wedding. Whether you are going for a low-key backyard spring wedding or an extravagant celebration of the season and your love, these ideas will have you covered regardless! There are some hidden gems of desserts out there in the world that you haven’t had a taste of yet. Try and include those if you want to truly mesmerize your guests.

The festival has 30 different tulip types spread out across 40 acres of vibrant color. In comparison to other producers in North America, the tulip rows here are over 700 meters long and our tulip beds are almost two meters broad. When traveling down the coast to Pian d’Alma or Castiglione Della Pescaia, you may see vast scenic fields. Beginning in June, the first signs of green growth develop. And this is the sole hint as to where these new fields would appear. However, by late June, the fields have begun to turn yellow, and everything becomes yellow. Vibrant blues, reds, pinks, and yellows stretch as far as the eye can see, like a rainbow. The tulip season runs from March to August when the Dutch landscape is transformed into a sea of tulips. The Netherlands is ideal for tulip cultivation because of its lengthy spring season and calm nights. The polders’ soil is constantly drained, which provides ideal growing conditions for tulip bulbs, which prefer well-drained but moist soil. Tulips convert large portions of the Netherlands into a bright patchwork quilt from mid-March to the end of May. If you visit the Netherlands in April, be sure to view the tulips; you’ll find fields bursting with vibrant color everywhere, all perfect for your lovely proposal.

Thinking about having a round table round-up for your wedding decor? Check out our blog for amazing ideas and details!

It’s a wonderful feeling to fall in love. Everything appears to seem even more beautiful, and for quite a few people, life actually becomes enriched. For some, love is about finding a deep-seated connection that just activates. Love at first right. For others, love is like a perfectly brewed tea. It starts slow, requires certain conditions which are met quite unexpectedly and seamlessly, and the result is the warmth of being with someone who is able to find a whole universe in you. Of course, it’s a two-way street, and their universe becomes yours too. We fall in love with them every day when we wake up. It might not be the cliché depiction that is often portrayed in movies or TV. We find a glimpse of it in the little moments as we spend time with our loved ones. In moments such as cooking food with them and they hand you the exact thing, you were looking for without telling them so. In moments such as cozying up with each other while haggling over which movie to watch. We also find it in moments of stress and fights, and the amends that we make with them, or they make with us. We find their love and our love for them in our everyday life. It’s as simple as that. Love starts as a noun, but transitions into a verb as the relationship progresses. With all the ups and downs, just like the boiling tea that’s being brewed into something perfect, love transcends the labels. Love becomes something else entirely for those two people in that relationship. Perhaps, that’s why everyone has a different definition of love. It’s subjective. And when it’s time, we begin to think of finally solidifying the relationship even further. For most people, that way is marriage.

A marriage is more like a social contract that is recognized by the government. Thus, marriage and wedding are not really synonymous. A wedding is a celebratory event that is so special that people spend months and even years preparing for it. It’s a big decision to get married and have a big wedding to celebrate it. In a sense, a wedding symbolizes the union of two people who have fallen deeply into love. The involvement of friends and family only increases the joy and makes the event beautiful. Although, how one decides to have their wedding is up to them. After all, a wedding is a celebration, and how one celebrates is quite subjective. For instance, some people get married and celebrate secretly without throwing a big bash. However, a majority of people in most cultures love to throw a big wedding and invite everyone who is close to them. That way, they end up making memories that last long.

Apart from the wedding in itself, the exciting and, oftentimes, an intimidating journey of wedding planning and preparation ends up deepening the love that the couple has for each other. Getting all the details right along with keeping within a pre-decided budget helps the couple become more compatible. In other words, as the couple plans together for one of the biggest shared experiences that they will ever have in their lives, their compatibility with each other as well as their understanding of each other increases. Moreover, the importance of an amazing wedding cannot be understated as we’ve all once dreamt of our perfect wedding at least once in our lifetime. Thus, when the time comes, we try to make everything perfect about it. And a great wedding is composed of the little things such as the band that you hire or the tables and décor. Without these little things, a wedding will not feel like a celebration. If you want your guests to have a good time and get good pictures clicked, you will definitely have to focus on these very little things. If possible, take the help of a close friend or an event planner to take care of them.

These details or aspects have to be thought about individually. And if you’re thinking about the kind of tables or round table setting that you want to have at your own wedding, you’ve come to the perfect place.

Types of Wedding Tables

When it comes to wedding tables, it may seem that your options are quite limited. However, that is not true. With the right creative approach and implementation, you can bring your aesthetic visualization to the material. Of course, the shapes of wedding tables are quite limited, yet there are still many options in the market that you can consider. For instance, you can go with little square-shaped wedding tables with quirky tablecloths. Apart from that, you can also opt for a mix and match style with big rectangular tables and small squared-ones. That way, your guests can have the option to choose the table size in order to sit with their preferred people. For instance, you might have a group of college friends who might want to sit together. For them, you will be needing a big table. On the other hand, you might know a couple from work who would want a small roundtable with only two chairs. Whatever be your choice, however, it is important that your arrangement aesthetics and décor are on point. In the next section, the décor ideas for roundtables will be discussed that will give you a good idea of how to get the perfect aesthetics for your wedding. Apart from that, make sure that you don’t base your table ideas solely on the article. Take into consideration your budget as well as the theme and the size of your wedding. This will help you narrow down your choice. Moreover, make sure that you add your own personal touch and get your own preferred décor into the table arrangement. After all, it’s your wedding, and weddings are a once-in-a-lifetime event, in most cases.

The importance of wedding tables is quite significant as they occupy a lot of space in a wedding. Thus, they will be very much noticeable at the venue. Moreover, wedding tables are not only about décor. For your guests, they will be a utility; an aesthetic utility to be precise. When they eat there, they should feel as comfortable as possible. Yet, your aesthetics should also be incorporated into the whole arrangement. It’s all about balance.

Round Table Setting and Décor Ideas

There are lots of round table settings and décor ideas out there. You only have to get creative. Here are some ideas that you can use or may inspire you to find your own

Textured Linen Tablecloths

As mentioned before, round tables are the optimal choice for any big celebratory event, and most people do opt for roundtables. Textured linen tablecloths are the best option to pair with fancy roundtables. It will provide your wedding with an entirely different aura. You should also think about the color of the cutlery as well as the napkins before choosing the color of the textured tablecloths. Moreover, keep in mind the theme of the wedding before you choose the textured linen tablecloth. It should be subtle yet make itself noticeable; something sober that is in line with the aesthetics of the overall décor of the wedding.

Go Retro

If you really want to go out of the box, then you should perhaps think about retro round tables. The chairs, as well as the table, should be wooden, and you should go with the iconic white tablecloth and white napkins. You can choose the cutlery accordingly as well. Apart from that, remember that going too vintage might not sit well with the theme of your wedding unless the whole wedding’s theme is vintage.

Soft Shades

If you’re planning to have an outdoor wedding, make sure that your roundtables are properly distanced from each other. After all, letting the guests have some more room and fresh air is the point of having an outdoor wedding. On top of that, choose muted colors and shades that will sit well with the greenery around. You can go for muted whites or blues for tablecloths. Light grey is another shade that you might consider, but it isn’t as popular as white and blue. However, the shade that you choose is up to your own preferences. You just have to make sure that the color of the tablecloth, as well as the roundtables and chairs, do not clash with the background scenery.

Add Vases

If you’ve already decided on the kind of roundtables, chairs, tablecloths, and napkins, you can always add some extra decorations. For instance, you might want to add flower vases to those tables. You should preferably choose small vases that will not become a hindrance to the guests when they converse with each other at the table. Alternatively, if you want to go for something that’s a bit more noticeable, you should look up tall centerpieces. These centerpieces come in various styles, but they all have one thing in common. There will be a bunch of flowers on the top that will provide shade to your guests on the table. Think of them as a small tree on your roundtable that is made completely out of flowers.

Create A Vibrant Contrast

Often, the aesthetics of roundtable arrangements as well as colors can get a bit monotonous. If you’re not that big of a fan of those same-old white roundtables and light-colored wooden chair aesthetic, you can go for something entirely different. For instance, you can go for a completely vibrant contrast such as textured blue tablecloths on wooden roundtables coupled with black metal chairs. The possibilities of color combinations and variations to aesthetics that will definitely catch the guests’ eyes are many. You only have to bring out your inner artist and visualize the perfect roundtable aesthetics that will make people go “Wow”.

Experiment

Time to get even more creative with post-modernist Roundtable aesthetics. If you’re comfortable with more experimentation and are open to unorthodox ideas, then you can also go the postmodernist way. To explain the postmodernist style defeats the whole purpose of that very style. However, let’s still explore a couple of options that can be considered postmodernist when it comes to roundtable décor. One option would be to spread the roundtables in an asymmetrical way with every chair, roundtable, and other add-ons in different colors. If you want to go beyond that, you can have roundtables as well as squared tables arranged in an incoherent manner. Apart from that, you don’t even have to go in regular wooden chairs. Bring in comfortable office chairs with back cushioned back support! However, ensure that sitting in those chairs and accessing the table should be comfortable for the guests. For instance, the height of the roundtables and the chairs should be in an appropriate ratio, so that the guests don’t have any trouble eating their food.

Balloons!

Any celebration is incomplete without balloons. On the surface, it might seem like an overused or a childish idea, but decorating your roundtable arrangement with balloons of different colors can look fascinating. This is especially true if the balloons are arranged by a professional wedding décor artist or an experienced event planner.

A Royal Wedding Needs a Royal Décor

If you’re thinking grandiose then what about royal decorations? Think of bronze utensils and golden tablecloths for your roundtables. Couple that with some handicraft wooden chairs with gold-plated metal back support. Of course, that might exceed your budget a little bit, but it doesn’t really matter if you’re going to have a small gathering and won’t be requiring too many roundtables and chairs.

Get a Professional to Help You Visualize the Aesthetics

If you’re still unsure about the kind of décor and roundtables that you want for your wedding, you can always go for an experienced professional. You can consult with your wedding planner. If you don’t have one, you can hire an individual who specializes in wedding décor. A professional’s touch always stands out. Moreover, the professional can also prevent logistical and silly errors from happening. And it will also take a load off of your mind as you’ll be delegating one responsibility to someone else. Planning a wedding is a big task, and it’s good to rely on professionals. However, you have to be in the loop as the vision of a professional and your own might not be in line every time. Thus, it’s important that you’re in constant communication with the professional, and they help you bring your vision to reality. Alternatively, they should provide you with options and you should make the final decision as it is your wedding, and it will be your memories that will be captured at the venues.

All in all, getting the perfect table décor at your wedding is about balancing sobriety and your personal creative touch. It shouldn’t be the case that your guests feel uncomfortable due to the creative liberty you take. But more importantly, you should not regret the table décor later on. It is your wedding and you should be making decisions as you see fit.

Go, Al Fresco, If You Can

If your wedding reception venue has a unique annex or a lovely outdoor space, then congratulations you are in luck! All you have to do is to use the entire space mainly during your cocktail hour! Your cocktail hour is the best time to make use of the entire venue space in every possible way! Well, your cocktail hour is the perfect time for all your wedding guests to mingle and catch up, relish the ambiance, adore the settings, and take a chill pill before the party kicks into full gear! So, make use of all the expansive space that your reception wedding venue has to offer! Balconies, patios, rooftops, poolside… every space can be utilized to the best and to the fullest to have a perfect wedding cocktail hour! If you are planning a romantic and classic outdoor wedding reception celebration then you just got lucky. An outdoor celebration immediately sets the entire party tone while making the entire setting more inviting and romantic! Keep the space available throughout the celebration, so that all your wedding guests can step out for some fresh air or a quick phone call later on!

Comfy Seating Is a Big “YES”

Well, for many of your wedding guests, your wedding cocktail hour will be all about standing and walking around while mingling and having some interesting convos, but some of your wedding guests will want to take a comfy seat while savoring every sip of the fine wine or whisky in their glasses! To offer the perfect combination of both the words, all you have to do is not overcrowd your wedding cocktail hour space with chairs all over the place! Just leave enough space for standing spots and for walking while adding some really comfy seats or by creating a lounge area!

When it comes to seating, there are endless and creative ways to do it! Not only will these creative ideas definitely elevate the entire seating arrangement in order to make your cocktail hour a perfect celebration but will also look stunning in all your wedding videos and photos! You can create some really unique and yes, of course, comfortable seating, just by using the combination of high tops and regular height tables, along with some lounge furniture, low chairs, barstools, floor pillows, and poofs! This way you will be able to give your cocktail hour a different feel than your classic sit-down reception dinner! If you are planning a winter wedding and looking ahead to adding a cozier vibe, you can consider building a virtual outdoor living room with comfy armchairs, rugs, and vintage end tables!

Music To Soothe the Ambiance

As most of your wedding guests will be busy talking, sipping, and snacking during your cocktail hour, bringing in some mood music will surely elevate the mood of the entire ambiance and the crowd too! Adding some soulful music is another simple yet classic way to have a perfect cocktail celebration on your wedding day! Since it is not a casual and upbeat dance party yet, keep the volume turned down and the vibe mellow so that all your wedding guests can chat with ease and savor every sip of the wine in full delight! It does not matter whether you have planned a lively DJ to keep the vibe and energy high throughout your wedding reception, but just for the cocktail hour, slow it a bit down to resonate with the calm and composed ambiance of the cocktail hour! You can consider hiring a jazz trio, quartet, or acoustic guitarist to set a completely unique, distinct, and intensely romantic mood for your memorable cocktail hour! Summing everything up, providing your wedding guests with some really delightful mood music is surely an integral part of hosting a really fabulous cocktail hour that your wedding guests will never forget!

Over-Stocking the Bar & Hiring Plenty of Bartenders is a Good Move

A perfect cocktail hour is all about enjoying drinks and having a good time with each other! With cocktails all around, we are pretty much sure that your wedding guests would be able to get their drinks quickly and without a hassle! It will be an easy breeze for them! The reason we are emphasizing so much on hiring more bartenders is if you won’t hire enough bartenders and don’t stock the bar, there might be chances that your cocktail hour celebration might fall flat pretty quickly! Just imagine the scenario of waiting in a long bar line for an entire hour? Not a good-looking scene, right? As we all know, bad bar service always results in unhappy wedding guests! So, in order to avoid this rookie mistake, all you have to do is to hire two bartenders for about every 75 wedding guests and stock the bar with plenty of liquors, mixers, and supplies! As it never hurts to have some extra, because running out is quite embarrassing, which we are pretty sure you don’t want if you have a planned perfect cocktail celebration in your mind!

If you have planned to serve bottled beer to all your wedding guests, we wanna recommend that you consider placing individual bottles in a big and fancy tub with different shapes of ice cubes and leaving plenty of beer keys for all your wedding guests giving them the option of self-serving! There should not be any reason for your wedding guests to wait in line for a bartender to pop open a bottle of beer! If you’re serving beer from kegs, however, leave it to the pros behind the counter.

Stylish Cocktail Hour Celebration is a “GO”!

We can’t deny the fact that you and your sweetheart had spent ages choosing the reception venue and then some good time to finalize the reception decor to have a memorable and picture-worthy celebration! With these things sorted, don’t let your cocktail hour celebration go by the wayside, especially if you have planned it in a separate and panoramic space! Consider bringing in small centerpieces and some aromatic votive candles to style the ambiance as the combination of these two together offers a great way to finish off the room on a romantic note! For example, if you are planning a cocktail hour under the striking city skyline, followed by an indoor wedding reception in an opulent ballroom, don’t be afraid to vary the decor of the ambiance! Take advantage and make the best use of the natural foliage offered by mother nature. Bring in some string wide ribbons and colorful banners with some lovely string lights from the tree branches to illuminate the entire setting making it cozier and extremely romantic! Well, you can also consider setting up some chic and unique floral installations near the entrance to make a that will leave all your wedding guests in great amazement! These kinds of unique ideas will also give our professional wedding photographers and videographers endless opportunities to capture your wedding day in the best and most creative frames!

A Resonating Cocktail Hour Decor Theme is Must!

Well, the color palette, centerpieces, and the entire table setting always set the theme for a wedding celebration and also the wedding reception! But, if you are planning to host your cocktail hour in a separate location or outdoors, you must try something different when it comes to the decor! You definitely do not need to make all your wedding guests wear leis and Hawaiian-themed shirts, but you can consider serving the tropical cocktails out of coconuts, and some chips with fresh papaya and mango salsa! All your need to do is take your cocktail hour celebration theme to the next level just by expanding it to your music and decor! Step up and twist your decor game and experience the magic through naked eyes and also in the wedding photos and videos! Ease out the whole decor game and just hire a mariachi band and set up some handmade guacamole and churro stations for some extraordinary elements to the overall decor! Or you can simply just have a jazz pianist and singer perform throughout the celebration and consider decorating with some different and chic art deco-style chandeliers and a bold black and white color palette! All-time classic and chic!

Don’t Forget about Signature Cocktails and Non-Alcoholic Drinks!

Well, it is absolutely true that having on-demand liquors behind the bar is important, but don’t forget about those of your wedding guests who prefer non-alcoholic drinks! Make sure there are enough signature cocktails and non-alcoholic beverages for everyone so that they don’t miss out on any moment of your cocktail hour celebration! If you are planning an outdoor summer wedding, make sure you have got a few drink selections for non-drinkers, too! For summer weddings, try water infused with cucumber, melon, and mint with lots of ice to allow everyone to relish the summer vibes in full swing! If a winter wedding celebration is on your mind, try serving cozy and seasonal, like hot apple cider with some cinnamon sticks! The bottom line is that just offer more than just water and soda to all your wedding guests by having at least one mocktail on the menu! All you need to do is work with your caterer or mixologist to come up with something inventive and really chic like a mix of grapefruit and orange juices, or a little coconut milk and a small scoop of orange sherbet on top!

Scrumptious Bites Are a Must Add On!

We know that it’s your cocktail hour menu, but we just want to say that make sure it must be diverse enough so that all your wedding guests can enjoy at least one appetizer to the fullest! If you think you just got lost where to begin, touch on the major tastes: just serve something slightly salty, sweet, bitter, and savory! Keep on offering various other dishes to complement the signature cocktail drinks! Make sure you have kept a note of all the special diets or allergies ahead of time to ensure that everyone has something to enjoy! As a twist and something different, you can consider going ahead and offering all your wedding guests something sweet before they all sit down for the reception dinner! You don’t need to spoil their appetite for what’s to come (so save the chocolate ganache for later), but don’t forget to offer a seasonally sweet treat, like a fruit tart or lemon sorbet, which could be the perfect palate cleanser before the final dinner. You can also forgo typical utensils entirely by offering all bites on edible spoons or in mini crispy cones.

Source of Entertainment is Mandatory to Keep the Celebration Alive

It’s your cocktail hour celebration, so, don’t let the name cocktail hour get you or anyone on the guestlist confused! This part of your wedding day celebration can also include fun activities, games, and endless entertainment along with cocktails and conversations! In fact, it is a great way to keep your wedding guests entertained throughout the celebration. Fun activities and games will give all your wedding guests something to do, especially to those who are quite less comfortable in social situations or just don’t know anyone at the wedding! If you are planning your memorable cocktail hour celebration in the great outdoors, you can consider lawn games such as horseshoes, corn hole, and some others that you think your guests will enjoy to the fullest. And if you are thinking of having your cocktail hour inside, you can consider bringing in a photo booth or a caricature artist on hand to create some really unique and hilarious portraits. Just one thing to remember, don’t be afraid to get creative in order to find something that perfectly fits your style and budget and can make your cocktail hour a memorable celebration for all your wedding guests!

Bring on Personalized Details and Touches

Personalize, personalize, and personalize and don’t let these words go out of your mind if you actually want to host a memorable and perfect cocktail hour for all your wedding guests to remember for years to come! From monogrammed napkins to personalized koozies, or straws with DIY flags, there are indeed endless ways through which you can incorporate personal touches and also bring in your personality or your wedding theme into the cocktail hour celebration alive in the best way possible. Just because it is the in-between time between the two main celebrations on your wedding day, that simply does not mean that it should be generic and not extraordinary! Adding your personalized details and personal touches is nothing but a great way to give all your wedding guests a little peek at what’s coming during the wedding reception celebration!

Summing up, everything! These unique and simple ideas will definitely elevate and step up your cocktail hour celebration game. We can assure you that with these tips, not only you will be able to host a memorable cocktail hour, but your wedding guests will have something to actually talk about for years to come! Cheers!

Planning for an elopement? Check out our favorite destination spots for an awe-inspiring spring elopement!

We have seen our fair share of weddings and we can say for sure that each wedding is special and unique in its own way. Whether a couple is tying the knot in a glamorous Christmas cruise while having a holiday honeymoon or getting hitched in their own backyard with rustic wedding details like dreamy string lights and mason jars, every detail leaves a lasting impression on us because of the unique chemistry that each couple brings with them to their weddings. It does not really matter whether you’re getting married at a BnB wedding venue or tying the knot in a faraway dreamy destination, the best way to make a wedding stand out is to make it your own! After all, it is your love story and no one will tell it better than you. So it is very essential to take some time off your hectic wedding planning schedule and reflect on what represents you as a couple. And if you want something intimate and meaningful and want a big day that only focuses on you two solely, then maybe an intimate elopement is the answer you’re looking for.

Let’s face it, a big fat celebration with over-the-top wedding ideas is not for everyone. And whatever be the reason – whether someone’s personality refuses to steal a lot of attention or they had to postpone their wedding indefinitely, having an intimate elopement can be the ultimate escape that they are looking for. For couples who want to focus on each other and for those who want to explore somewhere new (a strong nod to the globetrotters and traveling pants), having an intimate wedding can take you to a dreamy place without missing out on your ideal wedding ideas and inspirations. Unlike traditional times where intimate elopements did not include ceremonies and receptions, modern-day intimate elopements can be adjusted to include guests as well as other lovely wedding details. Getting in touch with an expert elopement wedding planner can be of great help, in this case, to help you navigate through the wedding planning process and get started on planning out an epic wedding saga.

Intimate elopements is a rising wedding trend that is witnessing a strong upward curve as it allows your wedding day to be an intimate affair. It is all about planning a wedding day at a location that is significant for you as a couple, whether it is a location near your hometown or a dream wedding destination that is halfway around the world. Having that said, a small wedding certainly does not mean that you won’t feel special as we have come up with some of the most jaw-dropping elopement wedding destinations from around the world that are also considered to be some of the most romantic places to propose.

Our favorite romantic elements destinations for your spring saga:

Moab, Utah

The small town of Moab serves as a gateway to the southern desert’s otherworldly red rock formations and massive mesas. Arches National Park and Canyonlands National Park are both located just outside of Moab. Massive arches and formations create an incredible backdrop for an intimate wedding ceremony and the ultimate place for a Utah elopement after a beautiful hike. The red rocks and desert landscape make for stunning wedding photos which means that you can have your ultimate wedding photography shot list right at this place, making it a truly remarkable place to elope.

Las Vegas

If you think of Sin City solely as a seedy locale for a quick wedding, you’re mistaken. Yes, obtaining and using a Nevada marriage license is incredibly simple, and Elvis officiants and drive-through wedding chapels aren’t for everyone, but the city is also full of excellent dining options, excellent outdoorsy activities beyond The Strip, and amazing wedding portrait backdrops at every turn. Our forever favorites for a dreamy Las Vegas elopement will always be the Seven Magic Mountains and the Neon Museum. To put it another way, you don’t have to be a night owl to elope in Las Vegas, though it certainly helps!

New England

A spring elopement in New England can be breathtakingly beautiful especially for the adventurous couples with a high adrenaline rush. If you’re willing to bundle up and brave the elements, New England has a lot of ethereal spring landscape views, so this could be a great option for you. There are many gorgeous options with a less strenuous hike, and one great option is to take the gondola most of the way up and then finish the hike. It’s possible that microspikes or crampons will be required. New England’s waterfalls and picturesque pools make it one of the most amazing places for glamping and spending some time away from the hustle and bustle of the mainland crowd. It’s entirely up to you, but whatever you do in the spring season, make sure you’re either prepared to work around the crowds or work with your photographer to find a more secluded location. It’s sometimes as simple as going early in the morning to a location that will be very crowded later in the day.

Lake Louise, Canada

The out-worldly turquoise waters of Lake Louise mixed with its surrounding emerald mountains makes it one of the most jaw-dropping glamping places for a mini-moon or an intimate elopement in Canada. The entire landscape looks like a painting and to make things even more beautiful, this glacial lake is located within Banff National Park, so the snow-capped mountains in the background will take your photos to new heights. The best part is that once you say “I do,” you and your new beau can go on exciting adventures together. Cross-country skiing, snowboarding, ice fishing, snowmobiling, hiking, and ice climbing are just a few of the activities available.

City Park, New Orleans

City Park in New Orleans is the ideal location for an elopement as it is brimming with charming landscapes and significant history. You won’t run out of picturesque backdrops for your gorgeous elopement photography session with a 1,300-acre oasis full of centuries-old oak trees, a fragrant rose garden, lakes, a stunning greenhouse, and historic sculptures. The Langles Bridge in the park also makes an excellent backdrop for exchanging vows. After your ceremony, take some photos and take a stroll through the greenhouse. This romantic elopement location in New Orleans will appeal to nature lovers and green thumbs alike.

Vancouver Island, British Columbia

When Prince Harry and Meghan Markle first moved to North America, they chose this secluded island in British Columbia for a variety of reasons, one of which is its rugged natural beauty. In Avatar Grove, you and your loved one can exchange vows among the ancient Douglas firs and cedars before spending the night in a private cabin. The rest of your trip should be spent enjoying the great outdoors (think hiking, river pack-rafting, hot springs, and even surfing) and staying in a luxury lodge in Tofino overlooking the Pacific Ocean. This British Columbia elopement destination has our hearts for its rustic and rugged beauty which also reflects in the backdrop of wedding photography sessions!

Dunluce Castle, Ireland

Rivaling your favorite rom coms, this Irish elopement destination can be the ultimate pick for dramatic and hopeless romantics! Elope to the historic Dunluce Castle in Ireland, with its craggy coastlines and iconic ruins. Who wouldn’t want to start their lives together with a little Irish luck? You and your lucky charm can marry in front of a crumbling castle straight out of a fairytale, surrounded by stunning blades of green grass and endless sea views. Can any under location beat the romantic quotient of this Irish elopement spot?

Tybee Island, Savannah

If you’re planning an elopement in Savannah, Tybee Island is a great romantic and nautical setting, located just 20 minutes from downtown Savannah. Featuring clean white sand beaches that line the island, and the historic Tybee Lighthouse which was once America’s tallest structure that now towers over the water, Tybee Island combines the seclusion of the seashore with the charm of a small town in one stunning location. The dreamy romantic sunsets alone are reason enough to have a lovely beach wedding with sand between the toes and a blanket of sparkling stars overhead.

Bora Bora

Bora Bora in French Polynesia is located in the South Pacific, halfway between Australia and South America. Known to be one of the best places for a tropical honeymoon, honeymooners have long flocked to this remote island chain for the white sand beaches and bungalows perched directly above the clear blue waters, and it’s also a fantastic elopement destination for couples looking for the ultimate tropical island vibe. Whether you’re looking to get to a private beach for a Polynesian-style wedding or spend some special time in a luxurious resort in Bora Bora, the options are endless for an unforgettable new beginning in this part of the world.

Bogus Basin, Idaho

You may not be aware of this hidden gem elopement destination, but trust us when we say that your Idaho elopement will look like something out of a fairytale. The Arrowleaf Balsamroot wildflowers light up Boise’s wild rolling foothills with bright pops of yellow and green in the spring. With over 190 miles of trails, you can hike, walk, mountain bike, or drive to your ceremony location and say “I do” just as the high-desert sunsets, with panoramic views you won’t soon forget and which will also pose as the backdrops for an unforgettable wedding photography session. And, because it’s only a half-hour drive from Boise, you can enjoy the best of both worlds by visiting this artsy and urban mountain town.

Chugach Mountains, Alaska

Alaska remains one of our favorite places for intimate elopements because of how wild and untamed it feels! And we especially love it when our couples decide to fly out to the Chugach Mountains and land on a glacier in a helicopter or ski plane because the scenery is breathtaking for an unforgettable spring wedding photography session. Glaciers change seasonally, if not weekly, so what we see or experience will always feel new and unique to the exact time and place, which I think is a lovely detail for a memorable spring elopement wedding day.

The Rocky Mountain National Park, Colorado

Probably a no-brainer, but the Rockies will forever make to our list of picturesque elopement destinations throughout all the seasons. It is true that Colorado is one of the most beautiful mountainous regions in the country, making it an ideal location for an intimate elopement. Rocky Mountain National Park, located about 70 miles from Denver, is home to a stunning wilderness area with 150 lakes, 350 miles of trails, and 450 miles of rivers and streams. Couples seeking the beauty of the Western wilderness have a plethora of options here, including dazzling alpine lakes, sweeping mountains, and pine forests, all of which offer a long list of options for the quintessential Colorado elopement experience. Silver Dollar Lake, Lake Isabelle, Sapphire Point, and 3M Curve are among our favorites.

Iceland

This remote Nordic island, which can be accessed with a five-and-a-half-hour flight from New York, has a rich variety of otherworldly topography, including black sand beaches, beautiful waterfalls, rolling green hills, glaciers, hot springs, and even gurgling lava. Probably one of the most fascinating elopement destinations in the entire world, the remoteness of most of these natural locations only adds to the spiritual aspect of your union. And you don’t need to worry about your wedding planning in Iceland, as it is not difficult to find an Iceland elopement service to assist you. After that, unwind in a room at one of the luxurious Icelandic retreats, which provides exclusive access to Iceland’s most famous tourist attractions, and kickstart your Nordic honeymoon right after.

Tulum

If you are looking for alternative options of eloping under a waterfall in Bali, you can check out the clear Caribbean waters of Tulum, the popular destination on Mexico’s Yucatan Peninsula. The town is especially popular with the social media influencer culture, and features cool hotels, a thriving wellness culture, and super-buzzy restaurants, not to mention gorgeous beaches and diving cenotes nearby. But all of these do not take away from the warm-weather romance it offers for smaller wedding ceremonies.

For some, a wedding entails exchanging vows in front of a huge guest list of relatives and friends. For others, something simpler, more scaled-down, and in a completely different location is desired. While the definition of elopement has changed over time, it is now most commonly used to describe the latter. The wedding is intimate – sometimes with just the couple in attendance, and takes place away from the couple’s home. The best place to elope is determined by the couple and their preferences as there is no shortage of awe-inspiring elopement locations – from colossal mountains to beaches and painterly lake views around the world for intimate celebrations.

If you’ve decided that eloping is the right choice for you, the next question is, “Where are the best places to elope?” Finding the most beautiful elopement location depends on what you’re looking for. There are beautiful coastal shores, towering mountains, and sprawling cities to choose from. Whether you want to elope on a mountaintop with just an officiant and photographer or have a destination elopement on a tropical beach, your wedding day is all about you and your partner, which means you can celebrate however you want. There are a plethora of ways to make the day memorable, from wearing a stunning elopement wedding gown to incorporating a variety of unique elopement wedding ideas, and it all starts with where you decide to tie the knot. The atmosphere you create will set the tone for the rest of your celebration, and without a large reception to worry about, the world is your oyster. The above-mentioned list contains our favorite places to elope right now, and it has everything from secluded waterfalls to vibrant desert towns. So go ahead and take your pick!

Hosting a Regency-core inspired spring wedding of your dreams!

Swirl into the depths of regency-inspired weddings with this blog! Click the link below to begin your journey!

While the new and shiny things always claim our hearts, there is something about the old royalties and the grand histories which will never be forgotten. They will forever live on and stories will be told in whispers of the anecdotes in black and white movies, yellowed brittle paper of classic Jane Austen novels and tales passed down by generations, adorned and altered at the whims of the matriarchs before they reach our ears. No matter how much we love our smartphones and feminist and respectful lovers, there is something about lazy garden tea parties, grand seasonal debutant balls, and scandalous courting in not-so-demure glances and long swirly love letters which will be something that nothing can hold a candle to! If you are a classic romantic soul who loves her after afternoon tea, her well-thumped copy of Pride and Prejudice, and have recently binged on Bridgerton, you, fine lady, are in for a treat and surprise, so hold your smelling salts closely!

Regency-core 101

This is essentially what the whole Regency-era aesthetic is named as. If you are familiar with Bridgerton, Pride and Prejudice, or Sense and Sensibility, you might already know this aesthetic by look. But where did it all start? This look is influenced by the regency period in the United Kingdom, which lasted roughly from 1795 to 1837. The title “regent” comes from King George IV, the prince-regent who took over when his father, King George III was pronounced unable to reign. This time period was marked by a cultural mini-renaissance, particularly among the elite classes. This translated into extravagant parties, gossip newspaper columns, brave and luxurious triumphs in art, literature, and design, and cultural sophistication. It was a very colorful and exciting time, the Regency period altered Britain’s whole social structure.

Dreamy recency-core weddings serving Victorian dresses with square necklines, delicate details in the sweet table, and perfectly grand venues are here to announce that the past is here and have the brides in quite a fix lately, but that is not all! The regency inspiration has stepped into various different elements of the wedding day, piecing together a wedding day which is a delectable throwback, but still current and incredibly stylish! If you are in love with the regency era but are hosting a spring wedding, it all comes together so beautifully, it feels like fate! It just so happens that spring automatically leads to a whimsical garden wedding and the regency theme fits quite at home in just a scene. While everything from the season to the era has worked out just perfectly in your favor, here are some of the elegant inspirations which are here to pull your dream wedding together. Whether it is royal-core or regency vibe that you like, whether it is a subtle Victorian era or more Marie Antoinette level maximalism, 2022 is embracing it all!

For a regency-core spring wedding!

Regency venue

When it comes to a themed wedding, the venue is crucial, as it paints the right picture for you to host your dream wedding in. Choose a Regency-era wedding site as the backdrop to your big day if you want to feel like you’ve strolled onto the set of a regency love story – and even better if it was used as one of the filming locations! Bridgerton was filmed in Bath for the most part, but some stunning thematic settings will transport guests back in time. Think along the lines of ornate gold details, artistic ceilings, romantic fountains, and mesmerizing archways, and an entry that will wow your guest before they even arrive at the location. A lush garden, a palatial estate, a sprawling ballroom, and a flowering courtyard, along with details like gold or brass decorations, vintage paintings, bold staircases, swinging chandeliers, or even vintage mirrors or sculptures will make your venue feel on-theme.

The gown to wow

The empire line gown is the quintessential gown for this era when it comes to creating a regency style for weddings. The empire dress is the ideal choice for a Regency wedding, with its delicate unstructured soft shapes and exuding feminine grace. For a genuine aesthetic, consider gorgeous fabrics like lace, chiffon, and taffeta, as well as a style with capped sleeves and a fitted bodice. Go for trendy regency details like square neck, puffed sleeves, or off-the-shoulder details. Your look will be enhanced by vintage lace boots peeking out from beneath the skirt. Choose vintage jewelry such as pearls and delicate silver pieces to accessorize the gown, but keep it basic. The regency bridal appearance is completed with lace or silk gloves and a capelet in lace for summer or fake fur for winter. A half-up bun with a few loose locks flowing down would be the hairdo for a regency bride. To achieve the iconic looks from the movie, keep your make-up natural and gentle.

Keep it vintage

Keep the color palette delicate and charming for a Regency wedding, such as dreamy lilacs, gentle blues, and dainty pinks. Use seasonal flowers, ribbons, and lace to dress up your setting. Crisp white linen tablecloths used for the tables, which are adorned with antique-style silver tealight holders and hurricane lanterns, as well as greenery and large blossoms as a centerpiece. Serve your guests an afternoon tea-themed wedding breakfast in the style of a traditional Regency wedding. To give your reception an authentic regency wedding look, utilize English bone china, silver silverware, and crystal glasses as dinnerware. For an authentic Regency-style wedding, only a classic horse and carriage will suffice as transportation. When your guests see you arrive at your venue, it will make a huge statement and take their breath away. It will undoubtedly be a memorable day!

You’ve been invited

Starting with your invitations is perhaps one of the most accessible methods to organize a regency-core wedding. When guests get their invitations, the design and color palette gives them a taste of what to expect on the big day. Your wedding invitations are the perfect spot to introduce your theme, and if you’re planning a regency-core wedding, you’ll want to include aesthetic aspects throughout every detail you can, from your stationery to your meal and favors. Look for swooping handwriting, pastel colors, and metallic touches on your invitations. When in doubt, go for simple and exquisite decorations that will make your guests feel like they’ve been summoned to the most important event of the century.

Romantic notes

A handwritten message has a magical quality to it, and no one knows this better than a regency bride! So embrace letter writing, a long-forgotten art form. We adore the notion of leaving each of your guests a handwritten letter in their place setting. If you calligraph their names elegantly on an envelope and stand it up at their place, it can truly substitute a place card. Sure, it’ll be a lot of labor, but your guests will be grateful. You didn’t have to write a long note, but maybe a few lines on how happy you are that they were able to attend your wedding or a favorite memory you shared with them? It’s a thoughtful touch that will make your visitors feel appreciated.

Gloved hands

Although many brides have abandoned gloves, they are such an elegant and sophisticated appearance that we hope Bridgerton can help bring them back. A pair of sophisticated gloves are the perfect final touch once you’ve gathered all of your wedding day accessories. They’re the ultimate opulent purchase because they’re soft and plush. Also, wearing a pair of exquisite gloves with your wedding gown adds to the regency concept and makes you appear to be from that era!

Statement veils

Long statement veils were fashionable at the period. In the wedding scene to Simon in Bridgerton, Daphne wore a cathedral-length veil, which was one of the most popular lengths at the time. This will not only be historically accurate, but it will also give your stride a dramatic and delicate feminine beauty. Give your veil the attention it deserves by having it custom embroidered so that your entire ensemble feels personal and well-thought-out. A favorite literary phrase, your initials and wedding date, or something unique and personal might all be sewn in.

Bridesmaid dresses in all the colors

Just because this was a time that belonged far in the past doesn’t mean you have to shy away from colors. In fact, get friendly with all the colors in the crayon box! Embrace those beautiful hues in your bridesmaid dresses and let your bridesmaids make the statement. You can choose warm tones of mustard, vibrant coral, or exquisite mint green, or look delicate and lovely in lilacs, pinks, and pastel blues. For a modern and cohesive take on the colorful bridesmaid dress theme, mix and match various shades of jewel or pastel tones. If you want to embrace the maximalism of the era, go for floaty tulles and voluminous petticoats to add fluff to the dress. You can also go for cascading silhouettes and add drama to the wedding ceremony for letting your bridesmaids claim the attention!

Afternoon tea galore

Afternoon tea is a great option for laid-back weddings where a sit-down meal isn’t feasible. Fortunately, it’s also very fashionable for a regency wedding. Set a table with cucumber sandwiches, small quiches, scones, and patisserie on vintage porcelain plates, cups, and saucers. Fill teapots with gin and vodka cocktails with a tea theme, such as a rose and hibiscus tea martini or an Earl Grey gimlet. Afternoon tea is ideal for an early afternoon ceremony since guests can interact and eat at about 4 p.m., after which there is no need to offer food again until the evening. If you are hosting your afternoon tea in a wisteria-clad courtyard or the outdoor rose garden, if your wedding venue allows, the theme will just fall perfectly in place!

Rococo era cake

The Rococo period began a few years before the Regency period, but the lavish and luxurious style swiftly spread to England. We prefer rococo styling for a modern wedding cake because of the iconic gold, white, and pastel colors, and carved molding. On a multi-tiered pastel cake, think of extravagant gold sugarcraft decorations like fruits, flowers, musical instruments, angels, shells, and fleur de lis. It’s a classic aesthetic that’s resurfaced in popularity. You can also go for a more subdued look with textured white icing, sugar roses, and gold molding accents. Whatever details you choose, the cake should be large and striking, with at least four tiers and a wedding cake display table to match.

Champagne tower

Is there anything more opulent and decadent than a champagne tower? We doubt it! There is something about a champagne tower that instantly spells luxury which feels at home in palace halls and endless flower gardens. A champagne tower is celebratory in a classy yet prominent way and truly encompasses the regency vibe aptly. A Champagne tower looks amazing in photos and is a great time to share with your sweetheart as you pour the bubbles in together. Also, they will leave your wedding guests wowed, that’s for sure! To make your champagne tower more historically accurate, go for vintage stained wine glasses or delicate vintage crystal glasses, and your bar area will look like it belongs to a movie!

A horse and carriage entry or exit

It’s no surprise that a regency wedding should have a grand exit, and what can be more fitting than a horse and carriage exit! We love the royal vibe that a horse-ridden carriage brings to the table, and how a couple instantly feels like they belong to royalty when they arrive or exit with such grandeur. Your wedding is a dream come true moment and a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. It’s a reason to rejoice, and this particular day can be anything you want it to be. Allow your imagination to soar and so what a king or a princess will do, just for a day!

Literary quotes

Using literary quotes throughout your wedding is a terrific way to personalize it, whether you select a favorite line from the series or another favorite romance novel. We love incorporating them into your wedding décor because they function so well in vows and speeches. Quotes from books like Pride and Prejudice, written in calligraphy on cloth or paper by your stationer, create lovely aisle runners. It can be looped around the bouquet on the day of the wedding and dripped down the bride’s arm as she walks down the aisle. If you and your partner are both bookworms, why not name your tables after your favorite books? You can then incorporate literary excerpts from them on your invites, menus, and orders of service, or as decorations throughout the venue. Alternatively, you can also read out your favourite poem for each other during your ceremony.

Wax seals

There is something painfully romantic about a handwritten letter, perfumed and sealed with a seal. It is quickly coming back and is seen more often! You may incorporate wax seals into your wedding in a variety of ways, whether you decide on handwritten letters or your wedding invitation, whether it’s a wedding favor or just for the aesthetics. It’s ideal for sealing invitations, adding decoration to place cards, and gluing dried flower and leaf stems to stationery. You can have a custom stamp made with your initials and wedding date, or you can opt with a generic mark that fits your style.

We adore everything about the Regency period’s elegance and indulgence, which has begun to inspire weddings, from magnificent costumes to exquisite decadent maximalism and the ambiance of tantalizing high society gossip. There are so many options to have the regency wedding you desire, from bridesmaid dresses inspired by the love of colors to vintage-style afternoon tea party, draping wisteria, bespoke wax seals, Georgian wedding venues, and sophisticated empire waist dresses. We hope this blog did justice to your vision and provided you with all that you might need.

Whether it’s the magic of the nature-filled location tucked away in the heart of the mountains or the sheer iridescent magic in the air, the couple managed to create a day that is not only beautiful to look at but also feels warm and wholesome in every way! Whether it is the emotional first look or the loving looks that couples keep on sneaking throughout the day, theirs is the kind of love that feels good and right! The magical day started amidst chirping birds and ruffling leaves as the duo got ready for the lovely day ahead! Chellsea looked stunning in her A-line wedding dress with lace details and a romantic sweetheart neckline and cap sleeves. Her golden blonde hair was arranged in a half updo, adorned with sparkly hair accessories and a gorgeous veil, and neutral makeup and sparkling necklace and earring set, adding a glow to her every movement! To add to the look, our lovely bride carried a gorgeous bridal bouquet which was created with the finest pick of white flowers and greenery! Dillon donned a classic blue suit which had black contrast lapels and a crisp white shirt, all the things which added a dashing flair to his attire! A black bowtie, a dramatic boutonniere, and a pair of formal shoes added to Dillon’s groom look perfectly! The bridesmaids donned baby-blue bridesmaid dresses and carried white matching bouquets as our lovely bride, and the gentlemen were all dressed in midnight blue suits and baby blue neckties, making for a gorgeous group with perfectly coordinated details!

Before the ceremony, the couple had their first look which was all gorgeously captured by our wedding photographers. The look in Dillon’s eyes as he saw his soon-to-be bride was precious and delicately captured!  It was emotional that Chellsea also did a first look for her dad. The couple had their wedding ceremony in the property’s outdoor ceremony site and the dark wooden arbor has been decorated with simple white drapes and gorgeous white flowers and greenery, creating a lovely setting for the couple to say their vows! The bridesmaid and groomsmen walked down the path in pairs or threes and took their position in the aisle, and the flower girl was assisted by her parents and left an adorable image in our minds! Soon Chellsea was walked down the aisle by her father, and the ceremony began. The couple said their vows, getting teary-eyed as they promised their future to each other and were soon declared married! They watered a plant as their unity ceremony, symbolizing how they promised to nourish their relationship forever to help it grow stronger through the years!

The couple exited the ceremony site as our Denver wedding videographers caught them in some memorable moments like the time they danced with each other on the winding road in the backdrop, just enjoying each other’s company and sharing sweet nothings! And as they did that, it started to drizzle adding to the magic! Soon it was time for the wedding party to pose for some formal group photography and bridal portraits, and the grassy meadows and tall towering trees proved to be the perfect backdrop for the same! Soon it was time for the wedding reception to start, but not before the couple had some fun with their guests. The evening unfolded into a series of exciting events, starting from wedding toasts to the first dance, and cutting the cake. The decor elements, like the rest of the wedding, were minimal and fresh, yet fun and we loved how the wedding cake and the wedding stationeries showed off streaks of color and whimsy! The wedding day surely ended with a high with everybody having the time of their lives!

Even when languages fail or recollections falter, a photograph or a video may convey a wealth of details! When it comes to this charming pair, though, each of their images and video snippets conveys the most captivating account of their enthralling love journey. A couple spends months arranging their wedding day, pulling together all of the minor and crucial details to ensure that everything goes according to plan. This requires a lot of checklists, phone calls, errands, and redesigning to bridge the gap between your dream wedding and reality, with a little help from the pros! And then, when the big day arrives, it’s gone in the blink of an eye! With so many intense sentiments, activities, and customs, the day is a happy swirl of occurrences, a succinct capture of the most fantastic day of your life! Photographs or a video film, on the other hand, are tangible and heartfelt, and even after they’ve aged, they still tell an intriguing tale about the couple!

The truth is that just a few days in your life will be remembered for the rest of your life, and your wedding day will surely be at the top of that list. Every couple wishes to capture the magic of the day in perfect photographs, from the drapes in the arbor to the flowers adorning the bride’s hair to the heel of the bridal shoes, so that they can relive the special day whenever they want and be recognized as an old friend greeting them with open arms by the memories of the day. Photographs and videos from a wedding capture many particular and delicate moments that we, as individuals, may ignore but that the camera retains.

What is a wedding if not an artistic representation of your love story and an opportunity to convey it? Are you even telling your narrative if you compromise on your individuality? While society enjoys categorizing everything, marriage should always be true to its partners! Of course, there are trends, season’s “it” hues, summer brights and spring pastels, the latest hypes, and the year’s favorites to consider, but the most important thing to remember is to stay loyal to your self-expression throughout. You should be able to recognize yourself and connect years down the road while browsing through your wedding photos. Chellsea and Dillon’s wedding is so refreshing because of this! Everything seems to be true to their true selves on this wedding day, whether it’s the vibrant color selections, the modest wedding decor, or the easy personality of the couple! And when they look back on themselves years later, they will only see themselves!
